I want to say he did something similar, before last years gathering. Was last year his for song or 2 years ago? Its advertisement. Nobody can agree on what exactly causes a fetish. While it can be developed  in early childhood and through learned behavior such as if you had a overbearing mother you perhaps might enjoy being dominated or if you perhaps had a push over for a mother and got your way through aggression you may perhaps enjoy a more submissive partner.A foot fetish or shoe fetish can absolutely be a result of crawling around and things of that nature but no root cause has been definitively found to cause these things and you may not develop anything until you hit puberty. A fetish at any rate is nothing to be ashamed of or worried about unless you hide or steal objects to achieve it and run the risk of hurting others or yourself through it. The important thing is to be confident enough to hopefully share what it is that you like with your partner and if they love you. Most will certainly assist in what you have if love is there and if you are willing to experiment with whatever desires they may have as well.

If you happen to like shoes/outfits, this doesn't mean you have a fetish. You could simply just be trying to keep the spontaneous nature to your relationship and keep things fresh because after being with someone so long. So while I am not urging anyone to rush into something they are not comfortable with in terms of partners being told. I do encourage you to sit down and have a conversation about what you like and your partner likes. You don't have to hop into anything right away but opening that door will certainly make you gradually more comfortable talking about topics about what you both enjoy and enhance the experience for you both in the long run. In most cases you will find it will make you not only feel less weird about what you guys like. But bring you closer together because you see and understand that each other wants to elevate and bring the most passion and enjoyment to that aspect of the relationship. Sharing something you feel  emotionally vulnerable about and having it be revealed as ok and that they love you enough to experiment and don't think you are weird is a great feeling. Take it from me. I'm a emotionally damaged guy who worries  people do not like/love me, even when they clearly do. Yet the one person I don't have that concern with is my Wife. Because I have shared what I considered at one time the most embarrassing thing about me and realized it not a big deal and she is more then willing to do it because it makes me happy. She participates in that enjoyment and enjoys surprising me with various things like new shoes or boots when the money is there. Which is why for Christmas last year she told me just give her the money for her gift and she'd get something for us both. Which in this case was a pair of Docs.
