Dry socket/infected tooth. Had to wait a few weeks for my insurance to kick in before I could get it taken care of. My whole jaw swelled up with pus and I couldn’t open my mouth up far enough to chew so I ate nothing but smoothies. Wouldn’t wish that shit on anyone. Worst few weeks of my life

holy shit, Slum, I forgot tooth pain lol! i recently had an infected tooth, was poor without insurance so i STUPIDLY tried to tough it out. i even worked the dispensary with it, some fuckin how…. tried ibuprofen, whiskey… big mistake… i was on my knees crying, not even gonna lie. finally paid for an extraction, like $140. worth every penny lol. dentist said it was one of the worst infections he had seen lol…
i had a female friend die suddenly from a tooth infection. it is NOT something to take lightly, homies! stay healthy if possible.

Talked with my brothers girlfriend who is a nurse, she said that I most likely had appendicitis and if I hadn’t taken my antibiotics it could have burst and I would probably be dead (the hospital was like 2+ hours away) so thank science and my study abroad avisor I’m still alive…
Also, I always thought women naturally have a higher pain tolerance specifically SO they can deal with the pain of childbirth? Maybe I’m wrong. It wouldn’t be the first time.

Women’s naturally higher pain tolerance is a lie lol…i refuse to believe that. The fact they can give birth is awesome to me, and i’m not so ignorant as to believe that it isn’t likely one of the most painful experiences there is to experience, but everyday interactions with women makes it impossible for me to believe they have an inherently higher pain tolerance than the average male

Some of the migraines I’ve had hurt so much that I pass out. I’ve also lost vision in both my eyes. I sometimes have auras where I see colourful blobs. I suffer from the killer migraines about twice a month now, down from 3 a week. Also, kidney stones are up there, as was my ruptured appendix. That sucked. I ended up having emergency surgery to save my life, now I have a huge 8 inch scar on my belly from that surgery.

I had a gall bladder problem for a while, but had no insurance so I couldn’t actually go to a hospital and get it taken out. The attacks got worse and worse as I passed the gall stones since I apparently passed the smaller ones first. The last one was HORRIBLE cramps in my stomach for an entire night, and I ended up passing out from the pain. When I woke up the next morning, the pain was gone and I haven’t had an attack since.

About a week later it hadn’t gone away and I started vomiting uncontrollably and couldn’t process anything. not water, not food, nothing. it wouldn’t even make it through my throat before it came up again.
My appendix exploded, I passed out, woke up a while later and called my dad who ran me to the hospital and the doctor was like ‘how aren’t you dead yet?’.

I ate Cameroonian street food probably once every couple days for a month. Glad I didn’t actually HAVE to go to the hospital with my (what seemed to be) non-acute appendicitis.
