Hey I need a hook up. I am willing to pay for a burnt cd of the 8 song Zug Izland Promised Land. I know there are torrent sites and download links for it online, but I'm worried about getting a virus. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That's a tough one. The forum rules discourage piracy. And with only one post under your belt, not sure who's going to risk it without knowing you.
You cannot get a virus from MP3's. If the file is non-executable, you shouldn't have to worry about it.
Now since you said you are willing to pay for it... Then why not go to http://grooveshark.com/#!/albu.....nd/6557904 and buy it there. That way you have legal copies you can burn.

Oh sorry. Just didn't know where to ask for this. I tried on groove shark, but the buy link took me to amazon where it doesn't exist. It's never been officially released. I would love to officially buy it, but I only see it on torrent sites and I don't really want to use that. Long time Zug Izland fan and would love to have this. Don't mean to get anyone in trouble. Just thought this forum could help.

Ahh... I see your dilemma. I didn't think to try the link from there. Yep, the amazon link doesn't work. Well, without an official release, I guess all bets are off. The actual forum rules refer to piracy and posting links to pirated stuff but since this was never really released, I don't know.
I don't think anyone will get in trouble for this, but I would wait for another mod to chime in on it.
I couldn't burn it for you since my laptop doesn't even have a CD drive. It's an XPS15 and like a lot of newer laptops, they are getting away from physical media since most software can be bought and downloaded online now.
Hope someone can help you out on this.

Yeah and I'm not asking for a download link or anything like that. I will pay. I'd hope it would get an official release but I don't know. Thanks for your help though. Didn't even know these songs existed.

There have been talks of releasing this album in the future by Zug.
The only reason some of it is available is because, if the story is true someone stole it and leaked it online as a big FUCK YOU to Zug.
