Pretty much. Both of my brothers were differing grades of schizophrenic and/or schizoaffective, and they were completely able to function in society. My one brother was a guitar prodigy of sorts and mathematics never even had to be studied. He read more books than most people I’ve met, and simply was the man. My half-brother was a lieutenant in The Guard and held down a regular job for 11 years. Comparing them to the latter’s mother, she is so catatonically mentally ill that she is confined indefinitely to some asylum in Indiana. She is schizophrenic and completely gone and dangerous. Three completely different grades of schizophrenia. I don’t even know why my one brother was even allowed into the armed forces being mentally ill, but here we are. 

I really value every time mental health is at the forefront of the discussion, as long as it’s an actual discussion, because we really need to break these stigmas and stereotypes on what mental illness is. Especially in this country that is built on trauma.

On Tuesday James’ lunatic mom demanded that the judge (who granted joint custody of James to both his parents instead of just his batshit mom) “recuse herself from the case because”… reasons.

Reminds me of my friend’s mom. She already had 3 (rather bad in ways) boys, and when she found out that the fourth was in fact, not going to be girl this time, either, she went insane and started smashing things.  She was said to be trying to “feminize” the boy a bit, but that could just be heresay. I couldnt picture her forcing a transgender surgery on the kid, who is now in his 20’s. But you never know……. on the flip side, if the dude felt out of place in his body on his own merit, then that is completely up to him. 

People are just wild.

Any judge that encourages parents to stop treating their children like toys or fashion accessories is the bomb. James’ lunatic mom is also a pediatrician, so I suggest she dial it back before the court orders James to be tested for transition hormones and her medical practice is put under a microscope. Or like I said before, before a fight club militia has had enough of what they deem heresy and they make it look like a bloody accident.
