the greatest city ever before it was ruined by corrupt french politicians, we were the number one city in Canada we had the world expo here in 67, had the 76 summer olympics and then the whiney french people fucked it all up in the 80’s, the made language laws so alot of big named corporations left here and went to Toronto but Montreal still thrived we still had huge world festivals here like Just for Laughs and the world jazz festival in the summer Montreal was the city to be, but now once again the OQLF are in full force since Pauline Marois came into power,If you cant speak french your fucked in Montreal cause now its pretty much against the law to speak english in Quebec.

 

they started banning english use at french schools so if your in a french school and you speak english on school grounds you can get suspended and thats just fucked up I went to french school and am better at writting in french than english  but I am english my whole family is english I couldent now imagine being an english kid in a french school.

 

Imagine you had your ipod on and was singing with a song in english and you got suspended for doing that???

 

everything thats written has to be in french so if you cant read french your fucked I am sure you have heard about #pastagate cause the OQLF went to a resturant and the menu of that resturante had a pasta section but pasta is english in french pasta is called pates alimentaire they fined the resturant and made it change it and the whole world laughed at Quebec cause of that.

 

Its getting so fucking bad that KFC is not KFC here anymore its PFK (poulet frite kentucky) and that tanslates to chicken fried kentucky cause they are morons, Its fucking sad I love my city and am extremly proud to be from here but these new language laws are pissing me off,, your fucking dog has to be trained in french commands how fucking stupid is that??? public transpor can only play french radio stations and 94% of all french music sucks, even french people listen to english music..

 

thats one good thing about America you would never let one of your states make it 100% spanish where if you spoke english you would be braking the law, fuck these quebec politicians that are trying to Separate from Canada if they just let us be a 50/50 bilingual province we would still be the number 1 city in Canada  it just really pisses me off that my city is turning into this fucked up french place..

 

anyways today was a holiday I been drinking all day and that was a drunken rant that felt so good
