you have no idea what you’re talking about. Gender identity and sexual orientation are two completely different things. Many transgender people are heterosexual. Many are gay or bisexual (or etc). There’s no correlation between the two.

What Sam is talking about is that somedays they see themselves as a girl and others as a boy, and possibly others where they have no gender or a mix of the two. They are not talking about sexual attraction. Sexual attraction is all together different, as I said earlier. A genderqueer person might be attracted to men, women, both, other genders, etc. They might be attracted to people regardless of gender (bi or pan), or they might not feel sexual attraction (asexual). There’s a whole variety of sexual orientations out there, not just gay.

So @neilanblomee is partially correct. I rock the combat boots at work but plaid is so fucking atrocious, I think my body would combust if I tried to wear it.

It’s just helpful information that will help reduce your bigotry and help you discover a richer, wider, deeper understanding of your fellow juggalos. You know, nothing important.

Anyway, yes smack, there are people who identify as animals. I’m not really sure of the science behind it. This has nothing to do with transgender people as far as we can tell. Trans people exist because of a biological instance in their bodies. It seems like otherkin (people who identify as some kind of animal, alien, etc) are a cultural phenomena related to the here and now but there hasn’t been a lot of academic study on the subject as far as I know.

Harley’s pretty awesome. They’ve talked to me on tumblr a bit. I hope you guys get to know them.

Gender queer / fluid people often use singular they. It’s sort of my default when i dont know their personal pronouns.

Instead of saying ‘they’ can I say ‘it’.  There is only one hatchet harley so I don’t like saying ‘they’.

It can be pretty offensive as it dehumanizes people. 

People use singular they all the time. Even Shakespeare used they to refer to a singular person.
