Welcome to the forum! I joined a few months ago after lurking the forum for a while.
I don’t know anybody where I live so it’s nice to come here and see other people interested in the same shit, even if they are miles away and I don’t take part in the conversation.

From some peeps i met they said they prefer duck fat over gravy or they fry the fries in duck fat, i guess thats the rich people poutine. As for the cheese, any curd is gross imo

you mean foie gras that’s something the richies here in Montreal eat and sometimes put over poutine like you would baconit means goose fat and we force feed geese corn with a tube 2 or 3 times a day for a few weeks before we kill them and their liver is extra fatty and tasty.
Oh ok forgive my ignorance but it still essentially the same structure. I had it wit just gravy and curd and once i saw it was curd i just tasted it and threw it out. I view it the same as fruit cake or spam, shit that was invented during hard economic times to get by.
To me duck and geese are the same shit both are gross, i prefer my chicken and turkey but beef is my go to food always. I fuckin love me some burgers, extra bacon

The bloodier the better. In fact, when I make my own burgers, I eat them raw. Right out of the pack, pressed into a patty, placed on a bun with cheese, stone ground mustard, cottage cheese and pineapple.

It’s good. I prefer beef raw… not rare. Anyways, be careful. I have had food poisoning at least 4 times from what I eat. But each time I get food poisoning, it is less severe than the previous times. I think the body builds a tolerance.

Poutine just sounds amazing. How can you go wrong with fries, cheese, and gravy. I have made steak fries and melted provolone cheese and topped them with beef gravy and that was amazing. And did someone say bacon? Yes please. If I ever get up to Canada its a must try for me.
dunno about raw beef hamburgers though. just thinking of that gives me the bubble guts
