The decision to not make you a "cool kid" was when you said that some people or posts should be banned or deleted because it was just the "right thing" to do. It was a question about your objectiveness. Feelings or what you think is the right thing cannot be used as a basis. The decision on who is mod is not made by me. Just relaying the info.
Anyway, I have been at a programming conference out of town since Saturday and will be out till Thursday so I have had little time to manage spam. I generally delete over 40 a day but I am only able to, sometimes, log in during quick 15 minute breaks. Spam will be high till I can get back on a good schedule.

So, what your saying is your going to let me borrow your mod name and password till Thursday, cause you need a hand?
While were with the cast of Sneakers, lets see if anyone there knows how to program against spam bot names containing 'keto' or 'ielts'.

I can do that. I have done it before with the asian characterset but upgrades always remove any of my modifications. I can add something like that again for just certain words. I'll check with Scottie on it.
