What cracks me up is including C+C Music Factory, since its no longer Coles and Clivillés, since Cole passed in 1995, but I guess Freedom Willams, the guy who does the rapping on the album, somehow acquired the trademark for C+C Music Factory and is touring under it.  Some videos show a female singer with him and others just how him with the backing music, so who knows what it will be

The mrs and i went to see NKOTB a few years back. Opening the show was Nelly and TLC. Shes a 90’s r&b fan so we were mainly going for TLC. Since Left Eye is also passed she couldnt be there to perform yet their still carrying the name TLC. The Mrs was thrilled about this and told everyone that we had went to see TLC. I keep having to retell her story telling people that we only seen TC.

i bet that was a cool show.  i dont mind a few NKOTB tracks.  I really like the stuff they released on their Face The Music album.  More mature sounding, etc.  But, still not sure if I am gonna go to this.  Tickets for GA are 39 plus service fees, so we will have to see

Okay, so, from what my primitive early 2000’s brain has gathered, new kids on the block are a shitty boy band that is every bit as bad as the ever hated boybands I grew up putting up with, but due to nostalgia the same people who that say modern music is bad give a pass to for no justifiable reason. Stop me when I’m wrong.

(but no really it is different, its a whole different genre, if another wave of pop punk shows up, I’ll be glad af that there’s another chance for some non-bullshit on the radio, something that I’ve only ever seen when I’m on the local rock station, or when some eminem comes on the odd station, I’m having a hard time thinking of another person but I’m sure there’s some.)

NKOTB was complete boy band garbage. Like many mainstream songs, they had certain songs that you loved to have. Like the Proclaimers doing 500 miles where you feel the need to belt out a ‘DA DA DAT DA’. Listening to Cotton Eye Joe and getting the urge to hike up your pants and do the leg kick thing. I do this with a lot of songs. Everyone thinks im retarded but it makes me smile hard. My younger sister was big on NKOTB while i was playing video games.

I remember get tough, calendar girl, there was a couple that i knew back when. They also played a shit ton that neither me or my girl knew. We both walked out surprised how much we didn’t know.  

they probably played a lot of their newish stuff that they released a few years ago, so that could be why you and her did not know what the songs were.  but, if you had fun, that is all that matters
