I, personally, do not wish to go in a direction of stopping specifically white on white crime. I would rather look for ways of stopping all crime towards all. "All lives matter" is not about whites or blacks or blues. It's about all. Just as if anyone worked towards stopping black on black crime, working to stop white on white crime is just as racist. Racism ends when we stop looking at race. I am not a fan of the redefinition of racism. Racism, if you break to work down to it's root and suffix and its etymology, is the idea of using the concept of race for any classification, not just for oppressive purposes. But the original definition has been hijacked so that by being non-racist by the original definition, one is now called being racist by omission for not ascribing to race. I am not ignoring racism by being what is called "color-blind". I know racism exists. I just will not contribute to further racism by letting my mind use the color of skin or concept of race as a determining factor of judgement of another human being for anything. I do see skin color but I do not think skin color matters just as I don't see how someone height or length of hair matters in how I judge a persons character.

Why can't people actually not care about race or skin color? My daughter doesn't. We didn't teach her that. She just grew up not seeing something as superficial as skin color being a determining factor of whether she liked or disliked someone. When she was little and was telling us about a new friend she met while we were at the park, she told us it was the girl in the red shirt. The girl in the red shirt was the only "black" girl there but to my daughter, the red shirt stood out as being the differential visual aspect that showed the person about whom she was referring. Does that make her racist for not classifying by race? That, to me, is the true definition of non-racist. It is when that generation, who refuses to live in racism, grows up and we die off, that racism will end. It is not by instilling the concept that race matters in them - that is the very definition of racism and will perpetuate racism.

I believe the people who are the biggest funders of the many "anti-racist" organizations (which make the concept race a main aspect) are the ones who, while they may not be racist, choose to promote separation to keep us divided. We are either one or we are separated by the many superficial facets that make up the whole of humanity. I will see us as one. One with many unique aspects. Not separate.
