Some people can find dark shit enlightening...i used to love twizzlers "rock the dead" and tech n9nes "trapped in a psychos body" and mr. Bungles self titled album while trippin...those aint "classic" trippin songs

Those are three separate entries/thoughts.
1) is in reference to something you've already seen and commented on from another thread.
2) is my offering to this thread. I had not read Psyphuk's dissertation on her psychedelic superiority that included a track from Infected Mushroom as well, otherwise I would have proffered an alternate selection. However, the track I posted is still in reference to 1).
3) while not in direct reference to the musical track, if you HAVE gotten to watch the new season of "Trailer Park Boys", it includes a subplot with connective tissue to my post; as well as to the later reference to the movie, "Cool World" (but I was trying not to be a "spoiler" under a spoiler cut).

Sometimes, you're just meant to look into things and feel like you found it yourself. I don't know if it's "Rick Roll PTSD" but mafkas don't ever wanna follow a curious trail anymore! I gave ya'll about 4-6+ hrs of potential entertainment value OR at least a BIG window into my mind! [so there! :P]
The reason I asked is because "psychedelic" runs a HUGE gamut across a gorge of inebriation.
Do I even need to talk about the differences between them to you? Didn't think so.
Much like the drugs and alcohol themselves, there are levels. Some people just can't take 'dark tonality' or melancholy, as it sets them off into bad trips. Not to be a DICK but, there's just certain music that's only for "advanced" psychonauts. Even when not talking about "recreational drugs", alcohol consumption is a consideration as well.
Either way, a good DJ can either get people tuh FUCKIN' or FIGHTIN' each other!
You tell a DJ where you wanna be in your "trip" and he/she will/should try to get you there based on whatever the fuck yer ON depending on what time of the night it is and at what STAGE yer trippin' on when you ask!
So don't be drooling when you finally manage to make your way up to the booth/table.
But I don't really know nuthin' 'bout the "hippie branding" of psychedelic. I mean, I can appreciate "The Grateful Dead - Touch of Grey" but I got nuthin' on a fix for a two hour free-form jam session! Whatever brown acid you may have took-en!
If by "psychedelic" you mean, "music that increases the evaluation of how "good" the shit you had taken was" ie Fun stuff to listen to when "tripping" on non-specified recreationals...?

FOR EXAMPLE
The lyrics of this particular song are REVERSED from the original. It sounds like a song sung in another language BUT... if you were to take the time and interest to listen to the ORIGINAL track, you will know what is being said in THIS version of the song...
