Mac Miller died on Friday of a suspected overdose, according to TMZ. He was 26.
Miller was found at his home in San Fernando Valley, California, around noon on Friday and was pronounced dead at the scene, the outlet reported.

Hrm… didn’t he though?
I’m having a hard time trying to Google it because every page reporting about GotJ in the past includes some link about Mac’s death (so I’m getting muddy results) and I don’t have all the timelines from the last few years (that isn’t with TINY writing) but I could’a sworn he had played on some late night/early morning slot… otherwise, who am I thinkin’ of?
Maybe I’m thinking of some other event I attended… hmmm…
But the sentiment is the same. At some point, I had the option of seeing him and passed for some other thing and now…

Yeah this one smacked me the face with some sadness…. did NOT see this one coming. The wife and I were just bumpin his new album. It was really jazzy and r n b, it was a really nice body of work.
To me Mac wasn’t one of these new school drugged out mumble lean sippen dudes. I didn’t know he was on the smack that hard….
Was I the only person to watch his MTV show??

His music isn’t my thing at all but whenever a popular musician dies I think about kurt Cobain. He was my favorite at the time and it really sucked.
I feel bad for his fans. And ariana grande who is gonna get the courtney love treatment so bad. And most of all I feel for his friends and family.

Funny you mention that, jerky.
I think I’ve figured out how I came to the thought (and I have punished those synapses accordingly with death by intoxication)…
It would seem that muh brain-piece conflated two bits of memory.
I can recall Violent J yelling to camera about Mac Miller and I can remember looking at a GotJ Timeline, the two created a mistake.
On an episode of “Insane Clown Posse Theater”, Violent J was gettin’ loud about an Ariana Grande/Mac Miller video, and I guess it looked enough like the way GotJ Infomercials are shot (ya know, front-facing) that I ‘benched’ that with a memory of me looking at a Timeline with Macc Lethal on it… the fact that the episode of ICP Theater was “older” is what must have made me replace ‘lethal’ with ‘miller’ even though there’s not really any confusing of the two other than me not having gone to watch either of them at a Gathering.
Again, I stand corrected. :#
