normally i wouldnt post anything about Ted Nugent cuz i can only take this guy in small doses. i actually met this guy back in 2000 at a Media Play store in Taylor, MI, and some of his music is okay…but in the long run this guy is a fucking quack!
if you read the article(which i provided the link to), he goes on talking about how the enemy of African Americans are Democrats, and that Democrats life FDR really fucked up the country with the New Deal policy during the Great Depression. IS THIS GUY SERIOUS!!??
if anybody knows anything about U.S. history, FDR is the president that got the country out of the Great Depression. He was the president who introduced the Emergency Relief Act, which is now known today as welfare, to aid citizens with groceries and bills, etc, while they looked for work. he was also the first president to allow the flow of African American people to work in the factories(besides what Henry Ford was doing with his assembly line, Ford motor company was the first corporation to allow minorites to work in the factories). FDR also got america out of the depression by hiring workers to contract guns, ammo, tanks, planes, etc to the British during WWII to fight Hitler(which was known as the Lend Lease Act…America could not "sell" weapons to Britian, so they "lent" the artillery needed to fight the war).
so i say this to Mr. Nugent, tell this fucker to do his research before coming out with his false inaccurate accusations before coming out with these insane ideas. READ A FUCKING BOOK! anyways, i cant get the goddamn link to work so here's the story via RollingStone.com:
That's one way to
mark Black History Month: When Ted Nugent hits the road this year, he's calling
his tour "Ted Nugent Black Power 2013," he writes on the conservative website http://www.wnd.com/2013/02/i-h.....troy-them/

LOL! Who do you think will show up? Definitely not the black community. I doubt his bigoted fan base will either.
The poster is pretty hilarious though!

i dont get why everyone doesnt write him off the same way they would any other rock star.
figure the odds are about 20:1 that hes a right winger primarily because hes in favor of upper-class tax breaks. hes trying to protect his fat income, thats it.
I wrote him off offically when he made those death threats against obama in 07 and NOONE cared...i havent honestly heard of him since....only reason i quote posted is cuz i thought that needed to be repeated
"Somewhere theres a Waffle House thats severely understaffed right now" -OCJ to Scruffy watching a second stage act at the Gathering.

The first post is kind of loaded.
Like, on one hand, fuck Ted Nugent, but on the other hand, no, welfare did not get the country out of the depression. FDR had some of the worst economic policies the USA ever had.
To be clear, yes, Nugent is out of his mind, but that doesn't mean that "progressive" economics work. Liberal Democrats are usually great on civil liberties, at least compared to the Republicans, but Democrats and Republicans are both pretty shit when it comes to economics. Any time you have the government shaping the economy instead of leaving it to the free market, you have a lot of broke people, poor getting poorer and people who didn't earn their wealth getting even richer.

i have to disagree with you. FDR also started programs like the Social Security Act(introducing social security), the Worker's Reform Act(allowed for unions to use collective bargaining for the first time), and the Tennessee Valley Authority Act(which introduced Hydro Electricity in the region, which would lead to things like the Hoover Dam for example).

thats true.
even if they dont agree with him, they can point to him and say, 'if he deserves airtime, we deserve airtime'.
fdr did do great stuff, but dont idolize him too much, he had his flaws. authorizing internment camps, for example.
awfully paranoid, arent you?
