It was before, but it’s coming back now, very slowly, it was fucking dead for a bit, like completely dead, in that there was no new fans showing up, but now it’s coming back alive (in fame anyways, ignoring quality.)

But what I mean by infamy is, try playing riot (3 days grace), bodies (drowning pool), Chop Suey (system of a down), or even mother fucking Mr. Highway’s Thinking About The End (which is a fucking post-hardcore song, as non-mainstream as it gets, and I know you think you haven’t heard it but you have), among any random group of people, people know these songs, even All out Life is quickly gaining infamy. And then rock classics, escpeeeecially Queen, are known by fucking everybody, that’s why Queen dominated that list even though it included a million non-rock acts. When I say rock is growing I mean it’s growing in people’s minds, a LOT of people hate pop music, a shit ton, saying “I hate pop music”, isn’t a controversial thing to say, and for a lot of people the first thing they think of as an alternative is rock, that’s why there’s a shit ton of non-rock fans that listen to classics like Queen (who I guess will be my shining example) there’s a shit ton of different versions of bohemian rhapsody on youtube and they easily total out to a billion views. another to crack a billion would be Linkin Park’s numb, It’s a weird situation where older songs are getting recognized again. And if your in a group of people like, idk, the lgbt community, rock is eeeeeeverywhere, rock, punk, metal, emo, anything but mainstream pop.

When I say it’s on the rise I mean it’s on the rise back to what it originally was, the go to alternative, like how Metallica once was.

It’s a weird kind of rise but it’s happening.

I have zero clue what you’re talking about in terms of the kids thing. I’ve said before that trans porn was good for the trans community, but I never said anything about kids, I got pissed that my only friend lost his shit (he calmed down like an hour later) I never once implicated kids at all, I mean, most kids start watching porn long before they’re 18 (usually 13) and that doesn’t take any prompting for anybody, it just happens, nobody is feeding it to them. I couldn’t care less if kids watch porn, if you don’t want your kids to watch porn put one of those internet monitor things on whatever device you give them, but it had nothing to do with what I said. I decided to re-read the thread I made and nobody even brought up minors, not even you, you’re just fabricating this now. It’s possible you’re implying that I meant that because I said that it might be their first time seeing a trans person, but I know for a fact that I was the first trans person a shit ton of people ever met, including nearly all of my family members, and they’re not kids. Also I turn 18 in under 2 weeks, the “your a minor” thing doesn’t really mater anymore.

I already said that more than kids haven’t met a trans person, for my entire family (save for maybe my older brother, im not sure) I was the first trans person they met. Miss of my school hadn’t met one until like 3 years ago, when the people in my grade were 14 or 15, and, newsflash, 13, 14, 15, 16 year olds watch porn. That’s just how it is. You claimed I was like Michael Jackson with fucking 7 year olds, 7 year olds aren’t on pornhub. Nor are they watching political shit. I already went over this in the post you quoted but apparently didn’t read. I mentioned conservative media, the most of that a minor sees is minimal, and their usually not paying much attention.
