1- Mostasteless

2- Freek Show*

3- The Green Boo*

4- Mirror Mirror

5- Independent's Day

6- Man's Myth

7- WICKED

8. Abominationz

9- Mutant

10- Heartbroken and Homicidal

11- A New Nightmare

12- The Darkness**

and all of these are better than anything by AMB/esham/boondox/ and 95% of anything by ICP, IMO of course.

* - greenbook and freekshow are pretty much interchangeable for me to hard to pick between 2 and 3

** - havent listened to the darkness more than once yet, so while i am putting it last, it doesnt mean it belongs there, it just means I need to listen to it a few more times.

Mostasteless

Freekshow

Wicked

Man's Myth

Mirror Mirror

Mutant

The Darkness

The Green Book

Heartbroken And Homicidal

Abominationz

Independent's Day

BUT this was hard because I haven't liked a Twiztid CD in a long time and some of these I literally listened to once so it was hard to rmember where they were on the scale. I think twiztid are WAY talented but I just don't really resonate with a lot of what they say. I respect em and hope the best but it usually doesn't work for me.

So I guess the general consensus is that Mostasteless rules. I find it so weird that you all have put Independent's Day so low.

I can't speak for anybody else but me, but my main beef with it is that the collabs all sounded super disconnected and unorganized. Like, some of the songs sounded like them and who ever was guesting on the track were writing two entirely different songs at some points. The worst of the worst was the one with DJ Quick. I can't remember the song name but I just ugh i hated it so much. It just sounded terrible to me.

Haha you're kidding right? Re-listen to the album and you'll see that a huge majority of the tracks with guests are coherent lyrically. Don't know what you were hearing.

I'm not a big fan of the album by the way. Green book is head and shoulders their best for sure imo.

Personally I thought the beats were lazy and sorta generic. The features weren't that great (for the most part), and it didn't seem as cohesive as their other albums. If they replaced How I Live and Sex Drugs Money and Murder with their respective remixes, it'd be better. There were a few highlights (Raw Deal, Welcome Home, Monster's Ball, Monster, Bury 'em All), but the rest felt like stuff that'd be better suited as outtakes.

It's funny, because I suppose I should say the same thing for Heartbroken & Homicidal. That album was the bomb. Circles, Set By Example, What I'm Feeling, Spiderwebs, basically the entire album was fire to me, despite the overarching subject matter being repetitive.

Independent's Day indeed had great tracks here and there. It was intended as a collabo album and that in itself almost eliminates it from the "full Twiztid albums" category. Like its more of a novelty disc. I cant dig the Hed P.E or Bizarre or DJ Clay tracks. Even though I dig a couple tracks, I feel Bizarre is one of the rap game's biggest jokes. He ruins plenty of tracks with his shock rap bile.

Monster's Ball

Bury Them All

How I Live

Sex Drugs Money and Murder

good tracks. Bury feels more like a Strange track featuring Twiztid though.

I rate albums on a "magickal" scale. The more powerful the feeling I get when I listen is the more I like the them. The order of choices will likely change with time though. But right now these are my favorites.

1 The Darkness

2 Mostasteless

3 Wicked

4 Abominationz

The others ones are dope too and have some of my favorite tracks but as far as albums go those four really make me feel some type of way.

As of right now, something like:

W.I.C.K.E.D.
Mostasteless
Abominationz
Mirror Mirror
The Darkness
Freek Show
Green Book
Man's Myth
Independent's Day
Mutant
Heartbroken and Homicidal

Man, am I surprised how badly Green Book's aged. It used to be my favorite album from them, hands down. Tracks like Speculationz, Serial Killa, Everybody Dies, I'm the Only 1, Fat Kids, and The World Is Hell (Remix) didn't age well at all.

I'm glad to see WICKED and Mirror Mirror held in such high regards on these lists. I always assumed they were at the lower tiers of Twiztid favorites. And Mutant is also getting less hate, on average, than I've bee accustomed to.

Green Book. Man, I also loved it and played it to death for a couple years. I always despised Speculationz, and Nikateen. I still dont know what the fuck Jamie is talking about with the Gwen Stefani rap. And E-40 just doesnt work on this track. Fuck Nikateen, I dont give a fuck about Paul's cig habit. Jamie made Fat Kidz more memorable and entertaining.

We can all attest (besides Smack) that Twiztid are an insanely talented pair from the awesomeness within all these albums. Imagine trying to make a ten track "best of out of these albums". Very difficult.

Considering ordering The Darkness. Anyone vehemently against the album?

I agree with Nemo on Green Book but it still holds a special place in my heart.  I hold ID in such low regard because of the time of my life it reflected when it came out.  Those songs remind me of a horrible place of drugs/probation/and stupid crazy women.
