I don't care about Rydas, never really listened to them, but this is kind of lame.

I get why they're doing it and I guess it's kind of cool for the people that miss it since Twiztid seems to be all about trying to appeal to the aging core fans but it's definitely meant to be a Psychopathic thing.

Bringing back Lotus performances was cool but it would be just as lame if they started dropping new songs under that name.

Good for them, I guess. They are part creators of an IP and they do something with it. There has been plenty of opportunity for Psychopathic to do something with Rydas and Lotus.

Dunno if I'd use the same name, personally but I guess that theyll never win. If they did the Rydas set up with this lineup and a different name, they would get called out for ripping it off or something.

Fuck it. There is something that the fans want and there are 2 faction that could give it to them. Psychopathic could have capitalized on this by now. They could still do their own rydas thing. Then the fans get the best of both sides. No one owns an idea.

Really not feeling G-Mo on this though. Everyone else seems to have gotten into character on that track they released but he just sounds the same as every other song with Eminem-style puns, every bar.

There is a "Rydas" track released?

Also,

"Why be original when you can be better?" - Paul Methric.

....

A new thought...

Why doesn't MNE just release a dope ass group consisting of Paul's brother Jeremy, with Legs Diamond and the chick that sings on LDLHA-IBCSYWA? It could be themed after some, like, cartoony take on prohibition-era thugs?

They could call it... The Violet Gang!

And why stop there? Plenty of room for more fucking creations!

Maybe take Boondox and one of the remaining guys from Gorilla Voltage and slap some fucking blood-stained bib overalls on them and they can rap under the names of...of... Da Bloodstained Bros!

Innovations, Innovations!!!

How about a rapper that talks about throwing hexes, like Big Hoodoo-... oh wait, they already did that...

Well, Jeremy Methric can do that long-awaited spoken word album! Everyone wants to hear the entire life stories of the dynamic duo set to a soundtrack! Spooky tales! They can call it... "The Path"!

And so on.

I think it's a pretty weak idea, but tbh I'm still looking forward to it.

The song is pretty decent. But I'm not feeling AXE on it. I really like AXE and I think the horror theme works well for them (should that Venomous 5 album actually drop it could be dopest Twiztid-involved thing to drop on MNE. Same goes for HOK though. Just based on the tracks released so far) but they just sounded ill-fitting on this one. I could easily see Lex and King Gordy killing in this group tho. Rydas as a concept group made up of all ex-psy rappers on MNE would have worked well too I think. If they are doing something this closely related to their time at Psy, might as well go all the way.

But maybe dudes on this song don't make up the whole line up. Maybe the concept is MNE rappers doing gangsta shit and you have a different bunch on each track.

ive never been a huge fan of Rydas myself, but same with lotus, they have 3/5 of the original members if you don't count Myzery(and who does?). Plus I think this is a much better idea than what J was going to do, just throwing all the new kids in a "supergroup" and calling them the "lil rydas" or whatever the fuck THAT was.

Honestly, I think right now that's J's biggest weakness, which MNE is trying to turn into their strength. J talks way too fucking much, he spouts out about all these upcoming projects and shit and gets everyone excited and then he delivers on maybe 40% of them, if I'm being generous. and I don't even think he's LYING. I do genuinely believe J is just as excited for every new project he announces as the fans are, and he gets just as disappointed when shit doesn't work out. But at this point? he's been running shit on PSY for so long he should know better.

That's why I wasn't mad that there wasn't a seminar. Did ANYTHING from the 2018 seminar happen?

The songs is pretty good, i think thats a DJ Quik beat?

But yeah it feels kinda weird.

I care for this about as much as I care for SV.

In other words I wish both camps would just do something new.

Sooooo are they just going to ignore that they already started the Venomous 5 and havent said anything about it? I'd rather something new than a frankenstein of an old group, like its cool but if your going to do psychopathic rydas then do the psychopathic rydas.

I don’t get into the psychopathic/majik ninja politics but, super douche move on MNE part, just let it die. Stop with the constant money grabs, this is very distasteful

Not too terribly excited about Rydas, but whatever. I will say last nights Twiztid performance could very well be one of the best they have ever done! Opened with HOK material (with ROC on stage), broke into a devastating Twiztid setlist of what was primarily hip hop (no drummer last night), then rounded out with some Lotus cuts. Sooo fucking dope!!!

Psychopathic Rydas was anybody signed to Psychopathic at the time. Which is why I feel like it's lame.

IDK who came up with the idea for Rydas but it still feels lame to me regardless.

I think it'd be cooler if they just started rapping over other rappers' beats with out the gimmick.

This is basically where I'm at. I like maybe 5 rydas songs and I don't listen to MNE at all so this is basically nothing to me.

But I'm disappointed. This is just putting salt in the wound and it's going to make more bickering so I'm out, but SAS never really in.

Fuck it I'm all for it. As with the "Lotus" performances on the last tour, when it comes to the songs, Twiztid and Blaze represent anywhere from 1/2 to 3/5 of these groups. It's just as much their right to keep using some of those gimmicks as it is ICP's.

EDIT: Also G-Mo and AXE rule so I'm excited to hear them in this format.

Now that I've seen it...

Huh, that was odd. It will take some getting used to with G-Mo and the AXE fellas on there. Nothing stood out, really. Just the "cardboard heart with tissues inside" line. Which was kind of stupid, really lol.

I happened to love Psychopathic Rydas. Shit is fun and in some cases they (in my opinion) outdo the original artists lyrically for the beats.

Overall... to avoid looking like a "hater" but I may appear to be one, regardless.... sigh.... there is no need for this. It is dumb. Flat out. This is like the "Dumb & Dumber" sequel. No one really wants it. And it can be sad to watch, while amusing in brief spots.

And that's cool, I actually hope that they are successful with whatever it is that they attempt. But this is like a stall. It sets things backwards in motion. Their job is to make money, great. I will be awaiting that must-have original content that is still not in fruition.

I thought Yung Dirt sounded good on "Duk Da Fuk Down". He fit. Hopefully he is on some tracks.

Also... wonder if it will be a stolen tactic from Joe & Joey Records. Where they start a broke sub-label that jacks beats but you cant sue em cus they dont have money lol. I always got a kick out of that idea, whether true or not. It lent for a funny vibe.

Hopefully Twiztid don't taint these songs with them saying "nigga" like they did with "Never Gone Quit" and other songs. Fuck them for that.

Yes they are being lazy as fuck with this shit... Do I want it still,  sorta.

They NEED to just flat out call it MNE rydaz or majik ninja rydaz.

Quit trying to hide the fact that they are ripping off psy's concepts and straight own it.

Atleast it would be a project each camp can diss eachother, instead of all this subliminal shots.

Fire the shots and peel off on them hoes,  gnome sayin.

I would be down for that,  but just dropping the word "psychopathic" is stupid,  replace that shit.

Also every gang has "sets"...psy rydaz is a set and mne rydaz could be another set of "the rydaz" gang.

I'm all for bootleg rydaz...whats more gangsta than jacking others ideas and branding it as their own... Sounds like rydaz shit to me
