Tech’s subject matter has changed though, compare Anghellic to now… fuck the industry movement to Lil Wayne and T Pain. Doing songs with other well known artists and doing party tracks is expanding his fan base. Plus no more spiked red hair, he softened his image to cater to the regular hip hop audience. Fuck the industry does not mean fuck the mainstream. He’s still independent. Tech has also always done party tracks from the very beginning, look at Plane Rock, the intro to his very first album.
Tech had explained that he stopped doing the red spikes because they were killing his hair, look at how fucked up his hair looked during the Killer era, that weird clown shit going on, that was because of the red spikes. In fact, Tech looks more like he did when he first started, with just the corn rows.

Lets face facts, Twiztid won’t take the paint off because ninjas would look at it as a sell out move. Point blank. They actually tried to do away with it back in the Green Book days and it never went over well. Twiztid is stuck in a niche of being ICP clones and riding they’re coattail forever. They will never be successful outside the Juggalo fanbase, ever.

I was a fan of Mr Bones and Hektik – before Madrox and Monoxide. How do you explain that, Juggalo J? I don’t think they feel they have to wear the paint over wanting to. Masks, paint, pimple faced…..talent gets noticed regardless.
