This came up on my spotify today. I wasn't super stoked on Redd so I didn't keep track of release dates or anything.

 

the album was a pleasant surprise based on the videos and stuff I peeped before hand; I'm REALLY digging Gameboy Color, dude rapping over the Lavender Town music about pokemon was dope AF; it's interesting hearing some nerdcore type shit from what seems like an otherwise more mainstream rapper. Real Talk with the ROC was also a pretty nice surprise; It seems like ROC cameos are getting more and more rare, so it was nice to see him on a song with this new cat.

 

Does anyone have any info on who this guy is, though? from my perspective he kinda came out of nowhere, did he go by another name or anything? "Redd" isn't exactly the best SEO for a rapper.

I got halfway thru the album and had to stop cuz of work. Need to go back to it but he seems like he'd be a better fit on strange off first listen. I dig it.

the problem with Strange is he wouldn't really stand out there I don't think; they've got a few guys who rap about the same kind of shit. Plus he's not even on MNE proper, he's on their "welcome to the underground" imprint, same as Oh! the horror.
