Some of us on here love the stuff Twiztid has out out after starting their own label.
Some of us like some of it.
Some of us hate it.
Some of us won’t give it a chance due to middle-school-style allegiance biases… but they don’t count, in this thread, anyway.
Anyway, I belong to the group that only likes a small bit of their Majik Ninja Entertainment output. I just can’t seem to love any album in its entirety.
That being said, I am lazy and busy. I have not listened to even 50% of their post-PSY output, I’m wagering.
So yall tell me….
If Twiztid were to release a double album of what you consider to be their BEST Majik Ninja era tracks.. what would they be?
“Twiztid: The Best of the MNE Era”
Album 1: Rap
– insert 16 tracks –
Album 2: Rock
– insert 16 tracks –
Basically, do the hard work for me lol… but seriously, this is a mix of what you consider the best that they have produced. Because despite how far they’ve gone in whatever different directions that they have since leaving PSY, I know that they have at least one superb double album of hip hop and rock music.
Twiztid, take note… I have never purchased an MNE album. If you released something like this, I will buy it. And many others will… because it would filter through all the experimentation and attempts to reveal that Twiztis still are the dope musicians we have loved since the 90s.

Admittedly love that track and most of that album.
However, I have the day off.. having some vape and coffee… trying to enjoy their new shit and godDAMN I CANT.
“Corkscrew”, anyone? What the hell.
Jesus goddamn christ.
However, some of their early MNE (LOL.. “early MNE”.. what is life?) rap tracks are good. Despite the subliminal horsepucky, “Down With Us” is slammin. I am trying the newer rock tracks but already need a break.
Help.

I have always dug this track, but then again, you could have almost anyone rapping alongside that morose beat with the haunting chorus by this Dominick fella and it would probably work
Hasn’t there been a track on MNE by Twiztid that made any of yall just go “THAT’S WHAT IM TALKIN ABOUT!! I LOVE IT, CLASSIC!!”
Like how Renditions of Reality, 2nd Hand Smoke, Hom Sha Bomb, Marsh Lagoon, The World, Bad Side, Respirator, Diemuthafuckadie, We Don’t Die, ET FUCKING CETERA have really hit us? Cmon.

All those tracks you mention hit me the same way they hit you. However, I always ask myself would they hit me the same in my 30’s as they did in my teens?
Here are some tracks that I would put on that level, but again, they’re not hitting me the same type of way any track would have probably hit me when I was a younger ninja:
Breakdown
Black Clouds
Speak Of
That’s What They be Telling Me
Hungry Like the Wolf (phenomenal cover)

Recommend me 2 songs that you think could make this album.
Come On Lets Get High is a super dope, chilled out song that was an instant smoker song classic to me, right along side Hydro, Bagz, and So High. Dead & Gone has this chaos to it that I love and it kind of reminds me of a track that would be on WICKED.
