On a side note I just noticed from all the pictures taken at the 4/20 show that Monoxide is turning into a fat kid again. Couldn’t post the funniest photos directly because it’s a concert photo site trying to sell the pics, but if you click on the following link there is some funny ass photos of Paul with a few extra chins, he may be fatter than Madrox now lol–

may be?…he IS fatter than madrox
honest question after lookin @ those pics…am i the only one who kinda thinks it’d be in their best interest to ditch the facepaint/jerseys/youthful haircuts?…not tryna be a prick, honestly wondering if anyone else feels this way?
kinda just looks sad & silly (imo) when two guys approaching 40 still dress like teenagers and shit. it woulda been dope as hell if they ditched the facepaint when they left psychopathic & reinvented themselves as hungry/legitimate rappers.kinda like what madchild did after gettin off pills…old swollen members shit is awful (imo) but than dude got a crazy focus and everything from “daggermouth on” has been crazy…woulda been a good path for twiztid.

Keep the paint! They don’t need to lose their established image and who they’ve built themselves as to gain acceptance from an audience that wouldn’t accept them as who they’ve been for nearly 20 years. Jesus, people call them sellouts now, and then you say they should just go and take a steamer on their whole image-for what? If someone says they’re not hungry/legitimate rappers for wearing face paint, then fuck their narrow minded asses. I guess KISS was a pretty fuckin illigitmate band and not the legends people seem to think they are. As for how they dress, what do you want them to wear? polo’s and slacks? Sweatervests? 3 piece suits? I wasn’t aware late 30’s-early 40 year olds were too old to wear jerseys and style their hair. Fuck’s sake people.

your typical 40 year old is pretty sad lookin on his own, do you think twiztid should emulate that?
they are, you know, musicians. musicians often dress in a manner not in line with the publics idea of what people ‘should’ look like.
awfully paranoid, arent you?

[EDIT]
I had a whole thing written but deleted it. I’m ever so sleightly disgusted with some of the shit I’m seeing (and not just here).
Shit about sell outs and going soft and some bullshit about *age… And not just about Twiztid either.
Some of you need to take a good hard look at yerselves and see if this stuff is still in your heart anymore cuz if you’re saying this kinda shit then YOU are the ones…
Go be a part of whatever the fuck Macklemore and Lil Wayne is about or whatever the fuck else you fancy at the moment because if you’re questioning the things that are at the *foundation of Psychopathic (and Strange for that matter) then you have obviously “moved on” and all you’re doing now is doing the same “back in the day” shit talkin’ that prevents not only PROGRESS but other people’s enjoyment of something they never had any reason to discount before.
This shit is *fun and awesome and should be shared with as many people as it can without trying to turning it into something it never was or wanted to be.
This kinda shit talkin’ is HOW scenes die! So if you think you’re on a sinking ship, be the rat yer playin’ and jump the fuck off!

Tech N9ne is not a legitimate or hungry rapper either, apparently.
Twiztid in three-piece suits would be pretty dope if they kept the paint. They did that in Hahahahahhahaahah right? It would suck ass to perform in though. Look like motherfuckers from a show choir.

not sure why/how the average 40 yr old looks sad/silly?…and uh…rappers usually dress in the exact manner the public tries to mimic so?…look at em/jayz or any rapper thats lasted the past decade (w/o getting hung up on there success/selloutness blahblah) in 2000 they dressed in baggy clothes/jerseys and shit that would look ridiculous if they kept it up today…maybe it would be beneficial for twiztid to come out of the timewarp and do the same.
they’re trying to grow and build an audience on their own (<—does not mean selling out) they have their “juggalo” fanbase, what would be the harm in growing and expanding beyond that? doesn’t mean they would have to make shitty music or turn their back on juggalos.
none of you (besides luckynumber…that greenbook show sounds dope as hell) can see any gray area in between dressing like a 15 yr old circa’04 and being in a nursing home…its either facepaint or songs about going to sleep early and i love you guys for that.

@luckynumbrxiii
To be sure, I’m not calling *you out at all. You’ve been hangin’ here long enough to talk some shit yer feeling without me thinking you’re being caustic but just sounding off. So i wasn’t sniping at *you specifically.
I’m talkin’ on more of this tangent that seems to be popping up with people chiming in with shit to say like they “know better”. Or people that want to hyper-extend the “family” thing like any of these muthfakos are gonna invite any of us over for Thanksgiving dinner or act like Psychopathic “owes us” something…
I got that beginning of Hopsin’s video for “Hop Is Back” in mind where he looks like it’s his day off, chillin’ at home minding his own and a bunch of bitches roll up with some shit about, “-I- made you *hot! Like, I *helped that! …. I’m a part of yo success!”…
FUCK. THAT.
Motherfuckers should be THANKFUL that we haven’t seen ANY of these artists flash their cash in our faces. Money *we gave them. Money well spent in my mind. But bitches wanna act like they are owed something more. These people give “us” a voice and a face and a presence and fuckers want MORE… We don’t see ANY of these guys makin’ it rain in strip clubs with “our” money like the cash won’t end! We don’t see ANY of the guys on some kinda Mtv Cribs shit, “Look what you bought me!”. The MOST we’ve gotten is Violent J talkin’ about how thankful he is to “us” for giving him the ability to pay for his kids college… That’s some *real love.
Then there’s people starting shit about the Gathering… [in my most indignant voice] How *dare you?! NONE… NO.. as is ZERO other bands/artists put out for their fans like Psychopathic does and bitches wanna talk shit like they “deserve” more… -They pay- for a party we are allowed to make “ours” and fuckers still act dejected… pfft.
Twiztid may have made off on their own but people act like they should be burning down their parents house once they move out.
I’m far from being an “old skool Juggalo” but don’t you EVAR try to be set reppin’ the old shit while *talkin’ shit about the new.
Flow with the tide, drown in it or get the fuck out of the water cuz no one wants to swim in the blue colored liquid that marks people pissing in the pool of others trying to have a good time…

As I said, I got on a tear I deleted but it included some smack talk about these “–…uggalo” monikers others like to create (ie Chubbalos, Druggalos, Gothalos(sp?), Rave-alos(sp?again)…
Ya wanna know *why there’s such an influx of other genres/scenes coming into the scene? It’s because the message of the Juggalo is gettin’ out there and still manages to stay at a level “under ground” that lets people feel like they are a part of something they can add too. Raver kids (for example) are *all about sum “love they neighbor” shit and goth/metal kids are all about how they don’t fit in…
Well, here’s your fuckin’ answer to *that line of questioning:
If hip-hop is the voice of the street, just know there’s more people living their lives there than just what you can fit [read: want to see] on a clothing rack. I *love Twiztid! I *love ICP and everything that’s come out of it because they give people the army they need when they think they stand alone.
I’m happy to be at the verbal frontlines. I got nothing to prove but my love for you all and when people start talking descention… It’s time to straighten the ranks. Or to carry the “fam” motif, sometimes brothers need to get scrappin’ to defend the family honor.

When it comes to Twiztid, they are kinda stuck between a rock and a hard place. They can take off the paint and try to attract new fans, but they aren’t GUARANTEED that this will actually bring in their new fans. Plus, we all know how many juggalos are. There were motherfuckers going on HUNGER STRIKES because they left the label. They would lose a good chunk of the fan base they have left from Psy if they got rid of the paint.
