The list goes on but Esham already laid out what rap mixed with metal or rock should sound like.
Good call. In my disappointment I had forgotten about Esham. Not that his rap/rock is mindblowing. But its good for what it is.

That album did get promotion and it was a full album. The way it was promoted was so mysterious though I thought it was gonna be some of the wickedest shit I heard. That video with the jump scare and all. Turned out to be some sorta breakup album... some NIN Pretty Hate Machine shit, the punk rap version.
Still good though I love I’m Stuck it sounds awesome. And the interactive booklet with the pencil you’re supposed governor scribble on the pages so you can read the journal entries.
Yeah maybe now, here amongst some core fans, but at the time the outcry of hate towards it being emo shit was undeniable.
Faygoluvers forums is not a good place to gage the general consensus about anything other than who on here gets butt hurt over nothing the most.

I'm convinced NOBODY has listened to H&H.
There are maybe 4-5 tracks that you could MAYBE argue are emo. The rest is a regular Twiztid album. It felt to me like Continuous. Not fucking great and not terrible. Kinda forgettable.
Looking forward to the new album. Heres to hoping there is some rapping on it

Same here i love the Twiztid rap shit like here with the dead and living@ the bottom are dope from generation nightmare phlegm in the windpipe > magic spells. Not feeling something new. Twiztid has a tendency to go all over the place with their albums but i think i recall an interview where one of em said that's why they're twiztid bc the always flip the script idk. I'm digging the artworkand imagery for this album i don't care if warped tour fans or hot topic shoppers dig the same shit as me bc I'm not a follower like that i likes what i like and don't pay no mind to whatever the fuck else to me they are just making music and not being try hards shit seems naturally evolving to me

Most don't know what 'emo' is in the first place. They just slap the term on anything that's sad with no knowledge of the culture or the genre. I think there was only one song on there that qualified as actual emo and it was more along the lines of pop punk or pop emo which is their worst song ever made. That was 'Set By Example'.
I liked H&H, though. It has it's charm on me. Definitely has a bit of a rushed or something feel to it, but I still enjoyed it.

Never in my life have I ever called anything "Emo". . . I'm not familiar enough with the genre. I heard there is a genre called "Screamo" as well, which has bands like Good Charlotte I think. I wouldn't know.
Like I said before, the rock style songs on "Mutant" I like most of em. I just didnt enjoy the "Heartbroken and Homo SEK-SHU-AL" (The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon reference heehee) rock style songs as much. Nothing more complex than that, really.
It's all just personal taste. You love "The Chainsmoker", I find it mostly repellant. I love "Phatso", maybe you dislike the fat kid funk, I dunno.

I do know that your play on the title of the album you don't like is disgustingly homophobic though. It's in poor taste, so why should we trust your taste in Twiztid albums?

I also liked lots of "Mutant" and parts of "Heartbroken & Homosexual" (just a joke, yall.... goddamn lol)..
Respirator
Get Off Of Me!
Who Am I?
Familiar
Madness
Starve Your Fear
- are the tracks I like off of that one.
PSA
Spiderwebs
What I'm Feelin'
And I guess Set By Example.... are tolerable ones from the other one.
But I haven't felt anything newer from this last batch. I'm sure I will.
Hmm.
You are the most insufferable human being, Lucem.
Homosexuals can't be heartbroken?
You're the homophobe.
How do you know I'm not a self-deprecating gay man? Who do you think you are for trying to say what we gay men can and cannot joke about?
I've been a friend with my coworker for 2 years or so, a homosexual Hispanic gentleman. Recently when one of our other coworkers quit (a hetero fucking joke of a human being), and came back in to our store just to start shit, my coworker called him a fucking faggot. That shit was awesome. An outward gay minority calling a 25 year old Colorado caucasian fraud a faggot is gold to me. I was impressed at how this otherwise sheepish young man stood up when he was in the moral right. I showed him your post earlier and he called you a faggot, too. Is he not allowed to do that, because you claim to be the Master of All Taste in Humor? No one is on your side, dude. You said "we" as in everyone else on here. You will find that you are still just a rhythm-less, pretentious overreacting anus. Your world has no harmony. You are Utah without the Jazz.
He also loved "Heartbroken and Homosexual" as a play on words but is completely perplexed as to what ICP and Juggalos are lol.

Well compared to the other rap/rock it is. Not only Esham either, Kid Rock did it as well (and others I’m sure). Suppose I just prefer rap/rock that is actually rap with guitars in the rap beats, rather than rocks songs with rap verses on em.

I gave a homosexual the privilege of being my friend and treated like a normal human being despite being a homosexual so I'm totally not homophobic. Then I asked him for permission to be homophobic so people won't call me homophobic because gays are a monolith in thought.
Man, you're so silly. I bet you'd think that the enslavement of black people was okay if you talked to William Ellison Jr.
Here's a fun fact. Just because 1 particular homosexual that you look to for confirmation so you don't feel like a bigot when acting like a bigot isn't offended doesn't mean it's not bigoted. Even if no homosexual was offended, it's still bigoted to refer to an album as 'homosexual' just because you don't like it. Maybe, perhaps, these little jokes that you think are harmless do much more damage because it reaffirms a hateful rhetoric towards the LGBT community that our culture has preached for a long time. The whole trend of calling things 'gay' because you don't like them has deep rooted hate from back when being gay was less accepted and you'd have to fear for your safety if people thought you were gay. Today's continued struggles comes from the negative connotations that are continuously pushed. Starting with calling things you don't like 'gay' because it's something you've done your whole life with no thought about it because you were raised in a time when hatred towards the LGBT community was normalized, to the portrayal of homosexuals as weird, creepy, rapey, flamboyant or even evil through out popular media.
And at some point you have to realize that the reason my baiting got so deep under your skin is because you know deep down that I'm right. That's why you ran to the only gay person you know desperately seeking validation that you aren't doing anything wrong when you know you are.
I live in Utah, we have a huge homosexual community out here that's constantly warring with the Mormon theocracy. I see first hand how hate gets taught. My step dad was extremely homophobic and used to make the same little jokes you do. Call people faggots or fairies for being different in any way shape or form or call things gay that he didn't like. I never thought a second about it as a child when repeating the same popular homophobic slang that we all learned from the adults in our lives. Then you notice the importance of how these subtle comments influence how our culture reacts to homosexuality and you hear your step dad go on a rant about how gay people are destroying morality, the sanctity of marriage (the irony of a step dad saying that, I know) and that they shouldn't raise children. (again, irony) Next thing we know we don't want trans people in our bathrooms around our kids because this same subtle sense of humor has taught us that trans people are sick & disturbed pedophile monsters even though they aren't.
It doesn't stop there. Go watch any old action movie that we used to adore as kids and notice how they always portray women was weak, naive and dumb damsels in distress that are only valued as trophies or objects of affection if they are traditionally attractive. Double think the stupid shit you say no matter how offensive it is because it's effect has a larger impact than you'll ever know. Realize this, and get woke. Maybe when you raise your sense of awareness you can understand why H&H isn't actually a bad album and you were just too far out of your sleeping depths to understand the art of it like true intellects such as, Lucem Ferre.

Then again I've seen black people back up the same peoples statements, saying niggers can be black or white... strange I always thought it was just slang for negro, which means black.
Shits weird nowadays.
