After years of lurking here, I made an account today specifically to ask this: I pre-ordered the vinyl version and got it on Friday. It’s fucking awesome BUT the LP and the digital download that came with it only has 10 tracks. Does anyone know what’s up with that? Just a ploy to get us to buy all the versions ala BPB?

Nevermind. Just heard back from Mono on Twitter. It’s because LPs can only fit approximately 45 mins on them (which I knew), so they had to “trim it”.
Why not release it as a double LP like everyone else would or at the very least include the full album in the digital download that comes with it?!?

Am I the only one that’s a little irritated that this 19 track album is only an hour long, has like 5 skits, and 3 songs that have been released before? People crucify ICP over that shit but Twiztid gets a free pass? Honestly I’m not too upset about the songs they reused, but how are they gonna have an album that’s so short and then add tons of skits to try and make up for it?
My personal opinion on the music itself, mono is getting better and Madrox is getting worse. Like that singing mixed with his “scary voice” is grating on my ears. I wish he would just rap normally to be honest, it has started sounding really stupid to me. He used to be able to pull it of but not so much anymore.
My favorite songs are a little fucked up, no breaks, and down here.

I like the album, most of the songs are good, but I’m just being honest. Madrox’s “scary voice” has changed and doesn’t sound good anymore, ESPECIALLY when he’s singing. The singing on Down Here is great though.
its all good brother…we are all entitled to our opinions…im just being a bitch..lol
I agree with madrox’s “scary voice”.I miss the way he used to use that. He has changed they way he raps for sure, hell they both have. MOno to me outshines madrox now..back in the day madrox outshined mono..but I think they are both getting better at what they do though. On this album though it felt like they both brought it and was equal..but I think Mono flow now is just impeccable.

I love Twiztid just as much as any Juggalo, but I’m really disappointed with The Darkness. In my opinion the last 3 tracks on the album that we’d already heard on other releases are better than any of the brand new tracks. A couple of new tracks were okay, Boogieman, Down Here but nothing really stood out to me as great.
