Wickit Wrekordz will be wonderful.
I agree… keep Twiztid, Blaze, The ROC and put out annual or bi-annual albums by them and their groups, like Samhein Witch Killaz and Zodiac Mprint. Occasionally do a Drive-By with ABK. Then, sign FRESH new talent.

I’m wondering how much of a push Twiztid can give people? with twitter / facebook / youtube how much are they going to be able to offer this “fresh new talent” that people can’t do for them selves. Would anybody actually (except blaze /roc) want to join what many are seeing as PsyLite?

I think that’s something Violent J says to excuse not hiring up and comers. Look at Strange, they’ve signed people that had names already (Rittz, BLH, Jay Rock) and they are still able to help give them a push and sell records. At Strange, at least it seems like it is about having a bunch of elite (read loosely) rappers all in one place.

But where are they funding this from? its all about the money, a group that charges $100 to be a fan probably isn’t that up as far as promotion goes. Battle Axe Records is the only one who charges a lot 0f $$ to join but that gives you store discounts and stuff…
i like PsyLite, it’ll be like CokeLite for skinny rappers only…
