Not sure if the original question ever got answered, but here’s my input:
Twiztid did an Internet radio interview where they were asked about this. Jamie told them that people were approaching them and identifying them as the “white rappers who said the n word”. They decided that this isnt how they wanted to be known.
i wouldn’t doubt though, that Violent j probably didn’t approve of the usage, but it went on for a little too long. If he had forbade them from using it, it wouldn’t have gone on for as long as it did.

That makes sense, them not wanting people to have that be all they know them for, but what about with blaze and their rydas personas too? Same reason I guess? It all ended around 2003-4ish, unless I just haven’t heard or noticed it from anyone’s albums that are newer than that. and they still use it in dialogue when they’re dicking around on stage or talking, pretty sure I heard’m say it a few times in old ashtrays and action figures vids too.

I’ve been watching the five Ashtrays and Action Figures archives on youtube pretty much on repeat for the last few weeks, incidentally, and they both did in fact say it about four times each.
If I was them and I read this thread (and shit like this) I’d probably wanna stop saying it too, it’s gotta be weird carrying around that kind of thing, knowing that people are at home listening to you talk and counting how many times you say certain words.

personally I thought that sounded like Mono if its either of the two of them…I don’t really dig their use of the N word in the past but I still dig the songs that they do it on so I just put up with it lol

@ltb Im not 100% positive but I think that was actually Jared from Hed pe who did that line. He frequently uses the word nigga in his songs. As far as Twiztid doing it? I could honestly not give a single fuck. Doesn’t really change shit for me in the slightest.
