I try to stay away from the word altogether. My stepmom is black, she uses the word from time to time, but I think I’ve just quietly understood that it’s their word to use. Even though that has sparked many many arguments, about it being a double standard or whatever, I’ve quietly just believed this. But the truth of the matter is the word itself has it’s roots so deep in the history of hatred. I don’t think ANYONE should use it. but people will regardless, just out of spite, or say it’s their right to do so.

My step brother sometimes calls me his nigga, but I don’t say it back. I just… don’t. Jamie and Paul can say what they like, but no, I don’t think they should say it either. Blaze either, but then again…it’s just a touchy subject. Especially with recent events that have occurred.

admittedly i probably use the word a lil more than i should XD it really just has become part of my vocabulary when i’m with my friends and people i’m comfortable with, just like the slew of other swear words i use, but i don’t say it in public because i don’t talk like a sailor in public in general. for the simple reason that there may be children around, old people who don’t wanna here that garbage… ect.

i don’t want to offend anybody or ruin somebody’s good time because i don’t believe that “swear words” are actually bad words, until you use them to try and offend somebody then they are just more descriptive words that i use.

In saying that i avoid the word in most cases, its not really overtly offensive in australia i just dont really say it. i mean if im singing along to a song and it comes up then yeah ill say it but i dunno just feels like a stupid word to me. why blak people feel the who need to ‘take it back’ when it was never your word to begin with is beyond me.

I only say it if I’m singing along and its in a song, by myself.
