From ‘Tear Jerker’
“I’m the product of two people who never got along, I was named after a song they heard the night I was born”.
My initial guess was “Jamie’s Crying”, by Van Halen. But that song was released in ’78, while according to wikipedia Jamie was born in ’75. Which makes me think it might be “weep for me, Jamie” by Peter, Paul and Mary. But do we know? has Jamie ever gone on record to say which song it was?

Good question. No idea. Though he did confirm at a seminar during frightfest that the “Tear Jerker” song was indeed true and about his father. Not sure if there was ever a question whether it was true or not, but some ninja asked and Jamie confirmed.
What a fuckin great album Phatso was though. I remember blasting that shit all summer in my hoopty back in 2006.

Indeed, a great album. Both versions. Some of the best skits, too.
This definitely isnt it, but a great song, nonetheless..
Like lots of Rehab songs, there are like 4 versions.

Bro Madrox low key is one of the greatest rappers of all time. He absolutely crushes ever single fucking track on Mad Season. His Writing these past 4 or so albums has been phenomenal.
I used to be more of a mono fan but I sincerely believe Mardrox is one of the greatest.
