Check it out yall. I was out in the country this morning cuttin’ down trees and on the way back up to the house we found this little dude in the woodpile on the trailer. How he didn’t die I have no idea. He is goin’ with my sister and they got him on cat formula so hopefully he pulls through. I think its about three weeks old. eyes aint even open yet

I’ve been capturing groundhogs lately in my backyard. Got a trap set up and all. I’ve gotten over 5 baby groundhogs within the past few months. I’ve also caught some squirrels too going bat shit crazy in this cage. I let the creatures out peacefully into the wilderness so no animals were harmed in this process. I got rid of the papa groundhog and he was big. The mother is only bigger.

Groundhogs really can be a nuisance and the mother fuckers seem to multiply. That’s cool that you let them go instead of poppin’ em with a 22

I wouldn’t wanna harm an animal. My neighbors said they would help me put the groundhogs outta their misery and all but I wasn’t having that. Took them to some woods and all and hopefully their tearing that up. Those fuckers set up camp in my backyard.

Slum that reminds me of a paper piece I did on animals, how humans sort of turn them from wild animal/ livestock to a pet /friend by giving them a name. Its a weird thing we do. By giving it human characteristics (such as a title) we identify more with it somehow. I mean, wouldn’t you rather kill n eat a no name heffer over your pet bovine named Puddingface (based on a true story lol)…
But props on saving the squirrel. I went fishing this morning and ran over a cat in the foggy country a.m. it sucks but it happened. On the plus side, caught the biggest chain pickerel ever later.

Puddingface sounds delicious…id eat that bitch…
A couple of friends of mine saved a baby mallard once when they were cleaning out a pool on a property they were flipping. He was a cool little fucking duck until he started getting bigger and they realized he wasn’t happy and gave him to the local pond wildlife center thing. I remember thinking that duck has about as much chance in the wild after being raised by people as a debutant in a two piece has in Southeast D.C.
He was a cool little fucking duck though… I wonder if he made it…
