It’s true. And helped his campaign and first year of presidency, and helped toward peace with North Korea.
The good parts of his bullshit, about ending human trafficking, and attention to the opioid crisis, and improving jobs.
Trump used this to get elected, gave nothing in return, and didn’t follow through.
Fuck Trump.

I thought the administration has done great on the human trafficking. … and this chart only shows through 1/2 the year of 2018….
The opioid thing is still in the works and while it hasn’t started decreasing yet (well as of end of 2017 – this data from CDC was published Dec 2018 showing up to 2017) it has started the process of reversing the trend line.

opoid use won’t go down unless they legalize all drugs when Portugal did it drug use actually dropped instead of increasing
They did not legalize drugs. The decriminalization was partial. If found in possession, the police issue a citation and the person is ordered to report to the Commission for the Dissuasion of Drug Addiction. All drugs are confiscated. The commission then determines criminal penalties if the the person does not agree to drug treatment. The range of penalties includes:
* A fine equal to a month’s pay
* Revocation of public benefits being received
* Cancellation of the right to carry a gun
* Prohibition of the privilege to visit certain people or places
* Loss of professional licenses
* Requirement to report to the Commission or health services regularly
* Assignment of a specific number of hours of community service
While the amount of drug use and drug related deaths has decreased due to the drug treatment requirement to wave criminal charges it is not because of “decriminalization”, it is because of drug treatment.

i got a follow up argument how would opoid use go down when it’s in music being glorified pharmaceutical companies who over prescribe and they don’t last long in your system to really be drug tested I know people who snort coke because they’re on probation for weed honestly if o ever got elected I’d legalize everything but have a 3 time overdose law where of you od 3 times that 4th time emergency services won’t be coming

I didn’t mean what I posted as a disagreement. Just pointing out the way Portugal’s system works.
I agree with you that our current system does not decrease dangerous drug use.

Legalize all drugs, manufacture tainted drugs and spread them across the country. Let them kill themselves. Drug use drops drastically because all the junkies are dead. Less people equals more resources, everyone benefits(besides the dead people) and you just repeat the process every couple years.

OK I don’t use or hang out with people who use drugs that will make you steal from your mother, that you can overdose on or any drugs that make people pieces of shit in general
coke heads, crack heads,meth heads,heroin heads
stay the fuck away from me and mine
I actually think fentanyl is one of the greatest things to happen to drugs makes people think twice about doing them anymore because you never know what it’s laced with.
the only drugs I ever done in my life was weed and hash and I was in my twenties when I started now I smoke half a joint each night before bed and it’s 100% legal here if it was not legal I probably would not smoke it as much .
certain weed can make me paranoid as fuck but now that it is legal I get way less paranoid because it’s you know legal

If you can’t make it through a few days without a particular substance without feeling good, then something is wrong.
…
Now where did I put my coffee?
