Yeah so, if this goes through it will remove anything resembling trans rights, the ability for me or anyone else to change our legal gender might just get fucked.
I’m about to fucking cry. Up until this point there was no legal discrimination towards trans people (other than the military ban from before) but now they’ve basically decided to put their foot down and say that I am not a woman.
This shit was what I thought was just a slippery slope from people who didn’t like trump “oh he’ll take away trans rights” they said, and a lot of people responded “your overreacting” but it turns out they weren’t overreacting.
If this goes through I am going to go to a protest and turn it into a fucking riot. Fuck this fucking bullshit. I’ve always said that discrimination towards LGBT people varies from state to state, in some places basically not existing, but soon it will government fucking mandated. Fuck the U.S.A. fuck the government, and fuck donald trump and his administration.

I never considered myself a Democrat or a Republican, but I’d say I lean a little more to the left because of shit like this. Republicans seem to concern themselves with things that have no impact to them. LGBT rights, their stance on abortion, all that stuff are things people should be able to make choices about and it’s personal to them.
