Trump told Jay Z that it was his policies that lowered black unemployment. So now he is literally taking credit and you can't continue your hoop jumping unless you decide to redact your statement about it being Obama's policies that reduced black unemployment. So you're basically proven to be full of shit again.

But it was always clear that neither of you cared about facts and cared more about petty routing for a team so why am I wasting my time?

Hey wait! Didn't I read about this movie in a different thread? It's supposed to be a fun watch (the movie, not the thread... unless you don't like hearing about music/movies/tv shows/video games you might like that you haven't heard before).

Meanwhile... somewhere in Little Italy, Texas... Psyral sits by the fire just trying to read the paper...

@lucem-ferre , He absolutely did just take credit for it!. And I also said in my previous post that it was pretty clear that it was Obama that set the course and Trump's success in this was just part of Obama's trend.

I believe the unemployment trend was just a continuation from the Obama administration. Chart below from U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics :

It is pretty clear that it is not because of Trump. Then again, he has not taken credit for it. ...

I cannot redact the statement of Trump not taking credit since it was prior to him taking credit. I still stick with my statement that it was not Trump's policies, but merely a trend continuation from Obama. I also do not agree with Trump's statement of taking credit since the numbers do not correlate with his statement.

IF I were to attempt any "hoop jumping" then the most I could muster is that Trump has not damaged Obama's trend in this. I, personally, would not go that far. This was, as I said before, an Obama admin thing.

I guess me previously stating that this was Obama's doing and not Trump makes me "full of shit." And me previously posting the Labor Bureau's statistics proving that it was Obama means I don't care about facts.

Oh well.

I actually looked up the statistics back on the 19th to try to disprove that it was Obama's success but since the data showed me otherwise I posted it none the less since the numbers showed that my thoughts were wrong and I felt that anyone who also previously thought as I did needed to know the truth and see the numbers.

I thought I was doing well with keeping all this within this one thread. I also try to be as friendly as possible. I may not be as good as @jiffylong or @spookythefungi in being super positive and friendly (those guys are awesome!), but I actually do make an effort.

I did make a few jokes in the Gathering 2018 thread that I thought were humorous but some took it as political so I dropped it.

Psyral, we all know what he was inferring. You jumped through hoops to say he wasn't trying to take credit when everybody else already knew he was. I guess it takes him blatantly and undeniably doing it for you to stop the acrobatics because you literally run out of hoops to jump through. And the fact that you are willing to twist narratives like that to bend the truth in your favor makes you full of shit.

Ok. If you say so. I take what Trump says literally. I do not infer. No hoop jumping or twisting required. I have said this many times for years. Nothing I do in life from my job to my hobbies benefits from inferrence. Everything in coding is literal. And for me, everything in life is literal. This is nothing new. I have always been like this.

And what narrative did I twist here. I said from the beginning that Trump had nothing to do with the unemployment decrease and I backed it up with Labor Bureau statistics showing it was Obama's policiies that did that. I support Trump but the statistics did not. I posted the statistics anyway despite it being against my narrative.

I will try to infer here. It seems like I will always be wrong to you.

If you take what Trump says literally then you are an imbecile or willfully ignorant. Even his lawyers don't take what he says literally, that's why they would never meet with him unless there were two of them present. https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/3120648-NJ-U-S-Bankruptcy-Court-1992-Trump-Plaza.html#document/p60/a320785

That was in 1993. I doubt his "memory" has gotten any better. Did you take him literally when he said no one would lose healthcare and that everyone should have coverage? Sounds like universal health Care to me.

The dude is a compulsive liar. You are too smart not to see through this bullshit, which leads me to believe you are either full of shit yourself, or you have some OTHER reason to support him.

Trump's approval rating is 36%. Support for impeachment is 45%.

I support him because I considered him the most secular, constitutional candidate in the last presidential election (and think he'll likely represent that in 2020). I expect the commander of our armed forces to keep some things to himself, and am not looking to him as a new dad. I couldn't disagree with your cited statistics more if you provided a source link to CNN. In the end i just think they helped "the left.". They got to content with somebody elses qoutes and narrative.

But yeah they got sweeped up in a fad.

I mean it worked. But like theese two and most ppl that dobtbis dont care what he says. Some do.

But yeah like a said they are just happy to be a pawn inbthe game then not in the game at all.

They just dont want to admit they are hurting the country we all love.

I take him literally because I take everything literally. That is just how my brain operates. Does that make me an imbecile? Maybe I do have an IQ between 26 and 50. It wouldn't match up with my education level or various tests I have taken, though. Doesn't mean it isn't so, just that it doesn't seem likely. Willfully ignorant? Maybe. That would be more likely than imbecile. Again, I think it is more of a way of thinking. It is just who I am.

And you are absolutely correct about having some OTHER reason. It has nothing to do with him, his policies, his personality, or anything he says or does. It is much, much deeper than that. If you have been interpreting the stringers I have posted then you know exactly why I support him being in office. It has to do with what is happening in the NSA, FBI, and DOJ mainly. For the election it had to do exclusively with the Supreme Court. That was the end game for my election support. My current support is the intelligence wars. His approval ratings do not matter in that. Neither does any support for impeachment. Nor does any little shiny object that he or even the media dangles out there for people to look at while the real battle is going on behind the scenes. Everything else is just purposeful noise.

You are so far off. You have no idea the love I have for this country and what kind of things I am doing and have done for it. I've been working in this game for over a year and it is all about to come out into the open (more than has already been revealed). I have already stated that the Storm is over and that Phase 2 is the Great Awakening. ... And none of this is in any way Matrix related - not sure why people keep going towards that.

See that's the issue with taking things literally. When I said imbecile I did not mean the dictionary definition of imbecile, I meant it in the colloquial sense. I am willing to admit that you're both incredibly intelligent people. More intelligent than I am. That doesn't mean you can't be wrong, though.

How do you determine whether you take a statement in the literal or colloquial sense? Or if someone is being sarcastic.

How do you decide which of Trump's statements to take literally if they are conflicting? Do you just assume the most recent one is the "literal" statement. Taking people literally all of the time is incredibly naïve.

I take that response to mean that you really don't give a shit about Trump at all.

Do you disagree with the idea that Russia influenced our election? A conclusion that has been reached by our intelligence agencies and those of several of our allies, by the way. Do you think they are all lying? Do you just not care?

I'm not trying to argue with a strawawman here, so please correct me if these conclusions I'm drawing are wrong.

Also, I hope you two are going to DCGCON, I'd love to grab a beer and chat about this in person.

I think any country with an economic axe to grind ALWAYS attempts to influence our elections, same as the U.S. interferes with other countries' elections. "Politics is war by other means." We're not planning on DCGCON but are planning on GOTJ, so maybe we'll see u in the sunshine (and Trump won't be so far up your ass by then). Much rather enjoy the clowny view.

Take everthing literally in the present. The past is non-existent. Does it cause issues with interpretation? Yes, sometimes. Especially when dealing with human responses. But it is the best way of thinking for my line of work.

I do not disagree with Russia influencing our past elections. They have been doing it for decades. The evidence also shows we influence other countries elections. We are quite good at it too.

Sorry, I am not going to be going to DCGCON. Would have liked to go but I got behind on my board game simulation and creation program that I was developing to design a game that would have been nice to play test there. I also don't think I will have the time to go. The Gathering is a definite YES. Everyone I work with knows that is practically non-negotiable.

I ended up allowing myself to be recruited into something that takes my time away from that for the moment. I am currently working on genetically derived artificial neural nets. It's going way better than anticipated. The overview concept is taking hundreds of thousands of neural nets that are genetically "mated" to reach optimization. The neurons are basic dendrite weighted artifical neurons and symmetry breaking bias inputs with rectified linear activation functions (I chose that over logistic or hyperbolic tanget activation due to its ability to negate gradient degredation). The net is deep-learning and recurrant - actually partially feed-forward with an inner recurrant layer to allow for time series recognition. The genetic algorithm stategy employs elitism, island isolationism, and simulated annealing variable mutation with weighted roulette migration (since this is a political thread, you can use an analogy of this migration strategy being a compromise between merit based and lottery migration). It is really exciting stuff and makes use of my programming skills. Plus I get to kill off thousands of artificial intelligences every generation - Makes me feel kind of god-like. I had experimented with this concept for a coding challenge contest over a year ago but never got the AIs to reach any meaningful convergance. Recent advancements (in 2017) in Neural Networks and Genetic Algorithms that I utilized have proven sucessful. I can get solution convergance or at least evidence of future convergence with many different scenarios in a matter of days. It is such a great feeling to have it actually work.

To summarize, these are AI neural net societies that have sex with each other to produce offspring neural nets that follow a Darwinian evolutionary paradigm.

The method is all I can reveal since the method is not new and has been used in many different ways during the past year for various AI projects. The purpose, though, must remain hidden ... for now.
