So give examples of what YOU think is race baiting and what isn’t.
I can not speak from personal experience since I haven’t really ever seen it in my daily interactions with people face to face. If I had to give an example, it would be along the lines of my definitions I posted earlier.
Example of what it would be: Politicians using racial divides as a campaign promotion strategy. It can also be used as opposition strategy.
Examples of what it would not be: Anything that has no racial determinations, effects, or references. That is not meant to be an all inclusive example since many racial references can also be non race baiting if there is no intent of instigating, or increasing some sort of racial divide.
Sorry my examples are not specific but I am sure you can see the many politicians on all sides who use race to further promote racial divides for various ends.

I’ve got a face-to-face example of what it is:
When I was friends with my one of my radio station managers (who happened to be the spitting image of Jimi Hendrix), a real-life redneck coworker at my second hospital job told me that she’d have to disown me if I fucked him. Even for the Deep South that was some fucktarded race-baiting.
And what it isn’t:
Hiring midget strippers. All are welcome!

So things like “Mexicans are stealing our jobs and raping our women” or “Muslim immigration should be banned in its entirety”. Basically Trump’s entire campaign.
And before you respond with that “Mexican is a nationality not a race” and “Islam is a religion not a race” just stop. You know DAMN well what he was talking about, and that legions of his voters are not nearly as nuanced or educated as you and just assume that means “Get rid of all brown people”. You read between the lines everywhere else, so don’t play dumb now.

That’s not a fucking anything. You should be able to give a good example of it if you think it’s such a problem. Maybe you two are just full of shit.
I have a few examples. When a black person tells a white person they only got a job because of white privilege.
Video of a cop being nice to a white guy claiming that it’s what white privilege looks like.
Acting like Black Lives Matter implies that white lives don’t matter when it doesn’t.
Claiming that Mexicans are bringing in drug dealers and the Muslims are bringing in terrorists.
Claiming that the temperature of the workplace is sexist because it’s too cold for women.
Waving around Nazi flags.
Not making an effort to denounce Nazis at your rally.
Running around screaming ‘kill all white people’!
Overly strict identity labels.
Redefining the word racism to justify bigotry towards whites.
You know what’s not race baiting?
Recognize the institutional imprisonment and slaughter of black people. But saying, “well blacks kill more blacks than any other race” is race baiting.
Acknowledging that minorities face obstacles that white people almost never face. AKA white privilege.
Wanting homosexuals and trans and what ever other weirdos to feel welcome and safe is not race baiting.
Calling people that wave nazi flags nazis is not race baiting.

I don’t think it is such a problem. I don’t think I personally have ever used the term “race baiting” before this topic. I was responding to your query of defining race baiting. Never thought it was a problem.
As for your examples, those are good and agree with most if not all of them.

Those do fall into my definition of race baiting.
I didn’t think I was playing dumb in my recent posts. As for reading between the lines, I don’t think I have done that in a while. I have endeavored to read things literally as much as I am able lately. I actually thought I was giving a very non-political definition of race baiting. Maybe my little addition of “I like Trump” distorted what I was trying to say. Since you are all aware of my political leanings and I do not wish to change any of your minds on politics anymore, I will stick to just being non-political from now on in my posts. The non-political stuff if what is fun about the forum for me now. Almost all of my free time outside of work and FLH is about politics in some way. This forum will now be my vacation from such things.
If I see honest non-political questions like @lucem-ferre ‘s request for the forum members to define race baiting, I will do my best to answer and will strive in the future to keep it non-political. I am sure I will slip up from time to time since as I said my life outside of FLH is within a highly political arena and it may leak into my “vacation area”.

Just a reminder that this is a thread in the Politics section.

if you knew anything about drugs, you would know you’re arguing against your point.. again.. if the criminal cartel in mexico’s peddling the most drugs, it’s an impossibility for these drug trafficking highways to not have already been LONG established.. the drugs are on the streets almost instantly, so they arent going through enough hands to create more dealers in such a cutthroat environment.. so clearly, the vast majority of mexican immigrants aren’t involved in the drug trade.. the thought of outlets like fox news being able to convince people otherwise, is ridiculous.. and offensively ignorant..

It’s a CNN source, not Fox, and cites a 2015 Congressional Research Service report as a source. I’ve lived with enough dealers to know more than enough about street drugs (like watch out for Canadian pills… they’re likely expired, or worse…), and I believe CNN when it claims things like “Fierce rivalries between Mexico’s drug cartels have wreaked havoc on the lives of civilians who have nothing to do with the drug trade. Bystanders, people who refused to join cartels, migrants, journalists and government officials have been killed.” What I find offensively ignorant are douchelos deciding empirical evidence or threads like this suck because they kill their buzz.

She’s never going to address the actual comment that most Mexican immigrants aren’t drug dealers, she likes race baiting, it’s all that the Trump campaign was built on while patting these bigoted white people on the back blaming the other side for all the racial tension.

Maybe my genetic handicap for peddling drugs doesnt disappear when ur born on u.s. soil.
Maybe it was never about where i was born. And just my genetic handicap of being mexican.
