Way off topic but we dont have a shit weather thread. As some of you may or may not know, the weather in north eastern ohio bordering western pa is terrible. The mrs. and i woke up 2 days ago to temperatures bordering 60 degrees, yesterday we had a “front” move thru around 3pm and everything that started melting the evening prior, started freezing again as temperatures plumeted to 14 degrees. Town started closing down as soon as the weather forecasts posted. This morning i woke up to a half an inch of ice on the windshield of our vehicle covered with 6 inches of snow. From there i procede to put on layered clothing to have access to society. Long socks, thermals, and jeans for the bottom half. Tshirt and two hooded sweat shirts for the top half. With boots and gloves covering major extremeries. After 10 minutes of chipping away ice i break the ice scraper, then after searching for another 10 mins i find out we no longer own a snow shovel. So its off to dollar general to reaquire necessary tools for snow removal. Truck out of the driveway, check! Dollar general, check! Back home, check! Snow removal operation, check! Make it back into the house, cold, jeans soaked up to my knees, nose running, and having cold chills. So i look at the Mrs. all cozied up on the couch, warm red lips, hair and make-up done and im thinking “good lord!” With a sly wink I ask her if she remembers the scene from the christmas story where Flick got his tongue stuck to the frozen hard flag pole and if she would like to try and reenact said scene. She says nope… End of story… FML
