So I had a girl walk into work last month and looked at the news on her computer about the condition of the immigrant children in the camps… she said “why do they look like actors?”…

Sounds like she is confusing stories. The children in the camps were NOT actors. The actors thing hit social media hard after a journalist, Jose Vargas tweeted this:

That image was staged for a protest that some misleadingly said was from Obama’s administration around 2014. Actually the photo was take June 10th, 2018 at Dallas City Hall to call attention to the actions under Trump’s administration that cause, what they said, the “separating of families and confining undocumented children.” Jose never said it was a picture of a detention center and was using the image to make his point that he believed that when the government views people as illegal, the result would be kids in cages. The original tweet was decoupled from the image and continued to spread on media platforms sparking a spike in Google image searches for “kids in cage”.  It was quickly found that this was from a staged event and called a “fake”. The image searches also lead to many old pictures from detention centers under the Obama administration being spread and mistakenly attributed to Trump. While there were a few pictures that were recent (Trump administration), a lot of what was spread were the older pictures which were “debunked” when it was determined they were before Trump was elected. Because of the staged picture plus the various pictures “debunked” as coming from Obama years, some doubted the credibility of most such images and started merging the stories in their head. Some people think that most of the images were staged when it was just one that was done for a protest and mistakenly attributed to photo taken at a detention center.

You say in the next section quoted that “I haven’t given up hope on her yet…” That’s good.  She should only uses social media to see whats trending in her timeline then research what is really happening. Not from any one source, but from multiple sources. Also she should not just read the headlines but the entire story and click on bibliographic links to previous sources. Also would probably be good for her to look up a few other articles written by the journalist who authored the news source to look for far leaning bias on any side. 

…She is one of the many who claim that everything is a liberal hoax, like Sandy Hook and other “false flag” ops. It’s a shame because she is a really nice girl, age 24, and due to the influences of her retarded boyfriend and step father who is a prison guard, she is an insane Trump-sucking goulash. I haven’t given up hope on her yet…

She has fallen into a common trap among the tin-foil hat crowd. Sandy Hook and the other “false flag” stuff comes from something, even a small thing, in the investigation that didn’t follow procedure. Just one thing wrong or done improperly in the response or the investigation of these events causes those who are looking for conspiracy everywhere to think that because of any inconstancy or mistake, however minor, must be an attempt at covering something up. While it could be possible that some of these events may have things covered up, it is far more likely that mistakes were made by response and investigation officials who were under extreme stress due to the events. Again don’t give up hope on her. If she can take a step back and realize the times she’s made mistakes under extreme stress (and even when under no stress) it should give her pause to at least consider that it may not all be some conspiracy. If she is strongly influenced by other people like her boyfriend and dad, she may have acceptance issues or doesn’t let her own thoughts come forward due to a self confidence issue. Something as simple as someone listening to her thoughts may be the key – they will be the things she says that most people discount or ignore. When she talks about conspiracies or Trump support she is not ignored. People have a reaction. They respond either in words or actions, and the response can be quite strong.  She needs someone to also respond in some way to her other thoughts. It will build her confidence in her own thoughts.  … Just remember that this non-requested advice is coming from another “insane Trump-sucking goulash” so use your own discretion on taking it.

…She also told me that Trump is banning brown folks from overseas from other countries because “he cares about us and wants to keep us safe”. None of you Trump-samplers can even go so far as to agree with that. It’s obvious he doesnt care about anyone but himself and his special interest groups. That’s as batty as when people say that Trump is a “man of God”.  

I personally didn’t think he was banning “brown folks” but targeting countries that lack a functioning mechanism to determine identity and criminal history of immigrants from that country. But you are right, us “Trump-samplers” – at least me – do not agree with her. Does she really think he is banning “brown folks” to “keep us safe”? I have never met any Trump supporter who thinks that. It’s possible I just have never truly conversed with those types of people. 

It may be “obvious” to you that he doesn’t care about anyone but himself and his special interest groups, but it is not obvious to me. 

Yeah, and I’m not into the Trump is a “man of God” thing. They’ve got it all wrong. He’s NOT a “man of God” –  He’s “God Emperor!” 

Oh, and this proves that he doesn’t have tiny hands, he has a tiny head. :P
