Can you cite the part of the constitution that actually says this so I’m not reading some guy that swears it’s in the constitution with out a source of what part of the constitution says it?
Is it not also your job, and the job of Pelosi and other democrats, to actually prove they have impeached Trump according to the constitution? Because so far, proof of that is lacking. Let’s try babysteps. Article I, section 2 of the U.S. Constitution says “the Senate shall have the sole Power to try all Impeachments…[but] no person shall be convicted without the Concurrence of two-thirds of the Members present.”
So if you are going to try a criminal, YOU NEED TO KNOW THE CHARGES AGAINST THEM, AND SO DO THEY. As we will see below, the specific articles of impeachment have NOT been given to the Senate. Without these, there can be no trial. Therefore, no impeachment.

Trump Impeachment Trial in Doubt as Democrats Weigh Withholding Articles
Speaker Nancy Pelosi said she would wait to see what the trial in the Senate would look like before sending the two charges there.
By Sheryl Gay Stolberg and
WASHINGTON — The day after the House cast historic votes to impeach President Trump, Speaker Nancy Pelosi put an abrupt halt on the proceedings, holding back from sending the charges to the Republican-led Senate in a politically risky bid to exert influence over the contours of an election-year trial.
With some leading Democrats pushing to delay transmittal of the articles and others advocating that they be withheld altogether, the limbo is likely to persist until the new year. The House left town on Thursday for a two-week holiday recess without taking the votes to appoint impeachment managers, which is required to start the process in the Senate.
“We are ready,” said Ms. Pelosi, who has said she would not send the charges or name the lawmakers who would prosecute the case against Mr. Trump until she was certain of a fair process for a Senate trial. “When we see what they have, we will know who and how many we will send over.”
By withholding the articles, Ms. Pelosi is hoping that Mr. Trump — who is eager for a trial to present his defense and clear his name — will put pressure on Senator Mitch McConnell, Republican of Kentucky and the majority leader, to commit to Democratic demands, including the ability to call witnesses during the trial.
No articles, no charges. No charges, no impeachment. Claiming Trump has been fully impeached is a case of premature ejaculation.

Does KLF want us to believe that Pelosi doesn’t know what she’s talking about when she acknowledges the question about sending the articles of impeachment to the Senate and how it hasn’t been done yet? Hmmmm, almost as if that’s a legally necessary step. KLF can throw shade at the article from bloomberg and new york times all he wants, but that’s just on him. It has nothing to do with reality.

That’s funny, because it doesn’t say that they aren’t impeached until it hits the senate. It just says they can’t be convicted. Does it say anywhere that they aren’t impeached until the conviction starts? Really, shouldn’t be hard to find that specific part of the constitution that says that. If they’re saying it’s there. Other wise it seems like a desperate attempt at saving face for Trump. I guess if she never sends it then I’ll consider saying he’s not impeached but we’re fairly certain she will. And hell no don’t take opinion pieces from conservative sources of news that won’t even provide the citations to back what they’re saying.

Pelosi fears Trump
she now invited him to give a state of the union address on Feb 4th try and impeach him one day the next day invite him to give a speech she fears what the senate will find in those documents and will probably never deliver them and just hope everyone forgets what a joke that whole process made the democrats look like.
so it looks like she wont be sending in those documents anytime soon and she will ruin the holidays for poor little piggie and the lucid fairy who so badly want nothing more from Santa than Trump being impeached.

Another viewpoint.
The White House is considering making the case that Mr. Trump has not been impeached based on an opinion piece by Harvard Law Professor Noah Feldman on Bloomberg’s opinion page Thursday. Feldman was one of the legal experts called by Democrats to testify before the House Judiciary Committee earlier this month and has advocated for Mr. Trump’s impeachment and removal from office.
“Impeachment as contemplated by the Constitution does not consist merely of the vote by the House, but of the process of sending the articles to the Senate for trial,” Feldman wrote in Bloomberg. “Both parts are necessary to make an impeachment under the Constitution: The House must actually send the articles and send managers to the Senate to prosecute the impeachment. And the Senate must actually hold a trial.”
“If the House does not communicate its impeachment to the Senate, it hasn’t actually impeached the president. If the articles are not transmitted, Trump could legitimately say that he wasn’t truly impeached at all,” Feldman wrote.
However, Harvard Law Professor Laurence Tribe wrote on Twitter that he disagreed with Feldman’s analysis, saying that “under Art. I, Sec. 2, Clause 5, he was impeached on Dec 18, 2019. He will forever remain impeached. Period.” That portion of the Constitution says that the House of Representatives “shall have the sole Power of Impeachment.”

Impeachment
Impeachment, in the U.S. and Great Britain, proceeding by a legislature for the removal from office of a public official charged with misconduct in office. Impeachment comprises both the act of formulating the accusation and the resulting trial of the charges; it is frequently but erroneously taken to mean only the removal from office of an accused public official. An impeachment trial may result in either an acquittal or in a verdict of guilty. In the latter case the impeached official is removed from office; if the charges warrant such action, the official is also remanded to the proper authorities for trial before a court.

So he’s technically not impeached until the trial is over. It’s not until they send the documents, it’s not the start of the trial, it’s once the trial has happened.
Despite being a pedantic cunt about it, vinyl is still wrong according to this. I’m okay with that.
Yeah, I’d rather not imagine a fascist dictatorship. Even if it’s bullshit it won’t matter it’d only serve to help Trump. If it’s not bullshit it still most likely won’t matter because the Republicans care more about retaining power than bringing a crook to justice. (most of them are crooks as well) If it’s not bullshit and he gets convicted and removed that’d be something.

I said Trump was not impeached and that he couldn’t be impeached because the articles hadn’t been sent to the senate yet. I was basically correct since the second step hadn’t even been taken! I was a lot more closer to the truth than you because you said he ABSOLUTELY WAS impeached. Now you’re admitting the Democrats were wrong to say he was impeached. Which is what I said in the beginning.

You’re just plain wrong.
I’m not unless they some how find a way to prevent a trial from happening. Technically he’s not impeached but it’s just a desperate bid to save face by being pedantic about the technicalities of him being impeached. He will be, regardless of how the trial goes, and to deny it is kind of sad.
How ever, I heard that the house and senate came together to serve us with a hell of a trade deal.
