Yeah I agree with this. I don’t think the issue is overspending militarily since we support so many countries that can not afford proper defense budgets. The issue is spreading everything so thin and not asking for a little “payment” from countries we help protect. Asking for this financial “donation” would help a lot in allowing us to free up some money to spend elsewhere while also not cutting things we might need later.

As for my agreement with Scruffy’s statement if the GENERALS and not the politicians were allowed to do their job our military would be a lot more efficient. Not make them unaccountable but make the Generals and military leaders more in charge of combat policies and directives and NOT politicians who have never been in war.

Oh Africa….FUCK AFRICA….for goodness sakes we have flooded money into that shithole since before I was born and the damn place just keeps getting worse and worse.
