Good for them. Work shouldn't have such an authoritarian control over our personal lives and they've gotten to take some of their lives back even if it's to throw it towards a completely different authoritarian evil.

In America, despite it being law, you're not even ensured that you will get your mandatory breaks.

We don't even get paid maternity leave and while most places offer the ability to earn hours for it, we don't even have a real mandatory sick leave.

Idk about the rest of America but here anywhere Ive ever worked nobody gets any extra breaks. As a matter of fact if you work in production it takes ten minutes to walk to the break room or smoke shack no matter where you are in the building usually. America frowns upon breaks. That's why you got Amazon workers pissing in water bottles.

I do gotta say that is a little fucked up to get extra breaks to go pray if true. If one person gets a break everyone does. That goes for smokers too. You gotta fucking wait just like everyone else.
