Michigan emergency room physician Jumana Nagarwala is charged with allegedly performing female genital mutilation on young girls, the justice department announced Thursday.

Nagarwala allegedly used a medical office in the outskirts of Detroit to perform the genital mutilation on girls approximately 6 to 8 years old, according to the FBI criminal complaint.

One particular family’s story is detailed in the complaint, who traveled from Minnesota with their two young children. A seven-year-old girl was brought along with her sister to a hotel in Michigan, where her parents told her she was on a “special girls trip.” After her arrival she and her sister were allegedly taken to Nagarwala’s office by her parents because “our tummies hurt.”

The seven-year-old was told to disrobe as Nagarwala “pinched” her private parts. The complaint further alleges that the child was given special underwear and told not to talk about the procedure. Nagarwala then performed the same procedure on the young girls sister, who said told investigators she screamed from the pain.

A medical review of both Minnesota children found their genitals were mutilated.

The World Health Organization defines FGM as any “procedures that intentionally alter or cause injury to the female genital organs for non-medical reasons,” and notes that “FGM is mostly carried out on young girls between infancy and age 15.” FGM is “often considered a necessary part of raising a girl, and a way to prepare her for adulthood and marriage” in some cultures, the WHO continues. “FGM is associated with cultural ideals of femininity and modesty, which include the notion that girls are clean and beautiful after removal of body parts that are considered unclean, unfeminine or male.”

Throughout the investigation FBI agents allege that they found “multiple minor girls” that had procedures performed on their genitals by Nagarwala. Two parents of involved children admitted to the FBI that Nagarwala had performed FGM on their daughters. Nagarwala was a practicing physician at Henry Ford hospital in Detroit and received her M.D. at Johns Hopkins University. The justice department believes Nagarwala is the first such person to be prosecuted under anti-FGM laws.

German Judge Says Turkish Man's Forced Violent Sex Is 'Culturally' Not Rape

A German judge has acquitted a Turkish man of rape, despite the fact that he forced a woman to have sex with him, and left her incapacitated. The judge argued that in "the mentality of the Turkish cultural circle," what the woman "had experienced as rape" might be considered merely "wild sex." The judge refused to convict the rapist, because "no intention is demonstrable."

According to the German daily newspaper Märkische Allgemeine (forgive the weak translation from Google Translate), the judge told the woman, "I believe Mrs. G. every word," but added that "her tormentor probably did not know what he was doing to her." On the night of August 18, 2016, the 23-year-old Turkish man sold drugs to the young woman and they consumed speed together.

He asked her to "go to bed with her" and she refused. According to the report, she had said he was "not her type." But the drug dealer forced himself on her. Here's how the paper described the encounter:

The young drug trader then complimented his customer, dragged her by the arm, threw her on the bed and pulled her out. He shoved his shoulders firmly against the metal bars at the head of his bed, his head jammed between two of them. The woman cried "stop" and resisted by scratching the accused at the back. But at some point she gave up and let her go as she put it. Several times he had entered her, the whole ordeal ended after four hours, when he got a call and suddenly had to leave, so that she too could go.

She refused, cried "stop" after he had grabbed her, and then finally she gave up. To most people, that sounds like rape. Indeed, the German paper reported that the Turkish man "carried on the sexual intercourse for hours on end so badly" that the girl could "not run properly for the next two weeks."

"On the one hand, the magistrate's court believed the victim, and on the other hand, the accused, according to which the wild sex was amicable," the Märkische Allgemeine reported. Amicable? When the girl could not even run properly "for the next two weeks"?!

According to the report, the decisive question was "Could it be that the defendant thought you were in agreement?" To this, the poor girl — who had given up struggling after she had been raped — said "that could be."

Why Does Germany Condone Mass Rape?

"She could not judge whether, with the mentality of the Turkish cultural circle, he had thought the happenings she experienced as rape might have been for wild sex," the paper reported. "A conviction is not possible, because no intention is demonstrable."

In other words, the judge acquitted a rapist — whom the court had "no doubt" forced the victim to have sex with him — on the grounds that his culture might not have considered the sex — which left the girl unable to run for two weeks — to be rape.

Oh, and of course, the defendant "denied from the beginning that he had raped" the girl. His defense? "He would not do such a thing, especially since he himself had a mother and a sister." That clinches it! What American court would buy this shoddy defense?

According to the Märkische Allgemeine, "rape causes relatively few convictions before German courts." The paper cited a 2012 study showing that only 8.4 percent of men accused of rape were convicted.

The percentage of conviction is not in itself proof that the court system is too lax on rapists. (That argument has been used to push for rape findings and expulsions against countless American college men despite evidence that no rape has occurred.) But this case seems rather clear-cut, and the "cultural" defense laughable, if it weren't so tragic.

Unfortunately, this is far from the first time Germany has faced a rape crisis. On New Year's Eve 2016, more than 1,200 women were sexually assaulted in various German cities, and authorities linked the sexual assaults to the influx of refugees. German politicians refused to speak out about these heinous crimes, perhaps due to fear of offending Muslims.

The problem with this strategy is that by turning a blind eye to violent rapists in order to avoid offending Muslims, liberals end up alienating the Muslims who do condemn rape, and want to see fewer rapes in their own communities.

Acquitting this Turkish man of rape sends the message that foreigners, or refugees, or Muslims, can claim their culture interprets forced sex as "wild sex." Not only does this condone rape, but it also might endanger women in Muslim communities, thus hurting the very people liberals are so afraid of offending.

Swedish police in the city of Trollhattan were attacked by up to a hundred masked migrant youths armed with sticks and bats during a riot in the Kronogården suburb on Thursday.

The masked migrant youths attacked the officers during the second night of rioting in the area. They also attacked the officer’s vehicles, slashing the tyres of two police cars. Only one man was arrested in connection with the riots, Swedish paper Aftonbladet reports.

The riot is said to have dramatically escalated after several youths attempted to set a tyre on fire in the street and a security guard intervened to put out the fire. The guard was then attacked by the youths who threw stones at him.

Peter Asp, the communications officer for the City of Trollhattan, said the riots were “power struggle for territory in the district” among rival gangs. He claimed that the young men rioting were Somali migrants, while the police have only said the men come originally from an Arabic speaking country.

Police believe that the riots were sparked by an incident earlier in the week, when children were taken away from their parents by protective services. An administrative court ruled that the parents of the children had physically and psychologically assaulted them.

One resident described the riots saying, “they drove a police car and threw stones at it. I’m a little scared, and it’s really hard. I can not sleep at night, that night I slept only three hours.”

Attacks on police in migrant-heavy suburbs have become more and more common in Sweden in recent years. A leaked report earlier this week showed that the number of no-go zones had increased by fifty percent in only two years.

While the report lists 23 official “vulnerable areas” some estimate that there could be as many as 55 no-go zones in Sweden.

Earlier this year Swedish police officer Peter Springare said that migrants were committing a disproportionate amount of crime in problem suburbs. He said that almost all of the serious criminal cases that came across his desk involved migrants; comments that saw him investigated for “racial hatred”, although the charges were later dropped.

Retired Swedish Police Chief Says Malmo Crime Skyrocketing Due To Uncontrolled Immigration

However, that is not how a recently retired police chief from Malmo, Sweden’s third largest city sees it. Ed.

Chief Superintendent Torsten Elofsson retired from police work in 2014 after 42 years on the Malmo police force, but he retains a key interest in the security of the city. He agreed to give Breitbart London his perspective on crime in Sweden’s most notorious city over a coffee in it’s historic town centre.

Recalling his early days on the force, Elofsson said the nature and volume of crime in Malmo had changed significantly, going from the organised crime perpetrated by biker gangs decades ago to the migrant crime boom of modern Sweden. Despite the population of Malmo growing by a 50 per cent in 20 years, the amount of crimes committed has increased out of all proportion – and the number of officers available to police the streets has halved.

The reasons for this are complex, Elofsson explains. As Malmo becomes a less easy place to police, officers with any experience request to transfer elsewhere, leaving the force with mainly young, rookie cops. These officers are at the typical time of life to get married and have children, and generous Swedish child care leave laws can take professionals, both male and female, away from their jobs for months at a time. This “negative circle”, as Elofsson calls it, combined with again generous annual leave allowance can render much of Malmo with no police officers at all over the summer, as Breitbart London discovered when it called on an empty police station this week.

It is a problem the force acknowledges – and admits it is powerless to prevent. Sweden has started to redeploy officers from other cities to cover the shortfall, but this is expensive as the officers are housed in quality hotels and regularly travel home to see their families.

Violent crime is a problem in Malmo now unlike any time in the past, explains former director of criminal intelligence and INTERPOL cop Elofsson: “Sweden became a member of the European Union in 1995 and opened our borders.

“We are part of the Schengen treaty, so you have that freedom of movement which has also brought criminality here… Gun and drug related crime has definitely increased. Until recently the possession of guns by criminals was very rare – now finding people with firearms is a daily occurrence here… most of the guns we seize are used in criminal activity, are held illegally, and are smuggled into Sweden.

“Slovakia is very interesting right now – it is very easy to buy deactivated guns there but they are converted back when they are imported here”.

“Malmo is infamous for explosions. Yet thankfully nobody has been killed by the explosions yet – some of them are just used to frighten people. We had one case in Rosengard where a group were given a court order to leave an apartment because they were a disturbance for the neighbours. And then suddenly hand grenades and explosions outside the office of the real estate company.

Elofsson explained trust was a major part of the problem – that migrant communities don’t trust the police, and native Swedes were losing trust in the government.

“You have people getting shot here, and when they get to hospital they refuse to give any details”.

While immigrants often came from countries where they had very bad experiences with corrupt police and didn’t understand this wasn’t the case in the developed world, the collapse in trust for the Swedish establishment is quite different. He says this change is a large part of the cause of the rise in support for the Sweden Democrats.

“The latest poll shows the Sweden Democrats at 27 per cent. This is a sort of explanation of what is going on – the politicians, the media sends out a message that everything is safe and secure, you don’t have to worry. But people act according to their own experience – they see things, they experience things, they talk to their neighbours. And they feel the picture being presented in the media is not entirely accurate.

“Many people think the media and the politicians have merged together to make people believe that it is safe and sound to live here, and there are no problems. The media says immigration is always a positive thing because we have an ageing population and we need a young workforce to come from other countries. People don’t buy that picture 100 per cent”.

“Living here you can see a lot of the crimes are committed by people originating abroad. Look at the unemployment here – you have 15 per cent in Malmo, which is twice the rest of Sweden”.

“Of the number of people arrested and dragged into police stations, the majority are of foreign origin to be honest. There is an over-representation of violent crimes committed by people from other countries”.

“But you can’t fool people. And that’s why the Sweden Democrats are rising. It was 25 per cent last week, now it is 27. There is a debate happening, you see all of the refugees coming… but we don’t have apartments, housing for them. How do we provide schooling for them? And then you see the costs. There is a feeling we can’t afford an influx of immigrants”.

Torsten is a member of the Christian Democrats, one of the smallest, and most right-wing parties in Swedish politics. Although stopping short of the hard-line views of the Sweden Democrats on matters of immigration, the Christian Democrats are much more right-wing on economic matters. Explaining that he thinks Sweden should still take genuine refugees, their stays should be limited to the duration of the wars they have fled, and should be sent back to rebuild their own countries when possible.

He also rejects the notion as articulated by senior Sweden Democrat member of parliament Kent Ekeroth that Malmo is a “lost city”, beyond saving. While acknowledging that the city is deeply divided, he says there is hope: “On the west side, people are high income, have very stable family situations… I don’t think Malmo is a lost city. There are different sides to the city.

“IBM are setting up an office here – they see the young population of people who speak many languages as an advantage, and see potential because the work force is what they are looking for… if you look at the price of houses, they are rising here. Not as fast as Stockholm or Gothenburg, but it is a positive trend.

“I live in Malmo and I love this city. But of course it has changed – now we have the bridge from Copenhagen, this is a border town. Most of the drugs going to the rest of Scandinavia comes through here – this is a key route for smuggling drugs, weapons, people, and so on.

“The bridge brought good to the city, but from a police perspective it has brought more crime. Now since we are in the Schengen area we’re not allowed to have border controls, which makes it difficult to supervise what is happening”.

Elofsson confirms the disputed ‘no-go-zones’ in Swedish cities are real, and outlines the precautions emergency services have to taken when they want to enter: “We have a number of no-go-zones in Sweden and they are expanding… police can go to these places, but you have to take precautions.

“Years ago you could go with two officers, no problem. Now you have to send four officers and two cars – if the fire brigade want to go, they have to take a police escort. They throw stones and try to stop the fireman from putting out fires.

“They sabotage the police cars. You can’t leave them unguarded – when you come back to it you find the windows smashed and the tyres deflated. It isn’t quite a no-go zone, but we have had to develop special routines to go there”.

All Sweden’s local police forces were absorbed into a national, unified body on the first of January this year, a change Elofsson has campaigned against, arguing that giving responsibility for policing to the mayor would increase accountability. He also has views on the border with Europe, remarking that right now “control is right on the edge right now”.

“I think it could be a good idea to make a temporary restriction on the border to get the situation under control”.

Whether the border is closed or not, there is still a massive job ahead of Swedish society, Elofsson argues, to prevent the radicalisation of newcomers. As we go our separate ways, he articulates his concern for the future of Sweden:

“We have a lot of children coming to Sweden alone. Most of them are actually teenagers, between 15 and 18, and that is worrying. If we can’t get them integrated into Swedish society, that is a huge recruitment base for criminal gangs and ISIS [The Islamic State]. I am concerned with the lack of integration, we have not succeeded to well at this”.

A journalist investigating Donald Trump’s assertion that Sweden has huge problems with immigration was told to leave a migrant suburb in Stockholm by police after he was confronted and followed by masked men.

For the past week, reporter Tim Pool has been conducting interviews and visiting Sweden’s migrant suburbs in a bid to get an accurate picture of what is happening.

Having left Malmo, Pool traveled to Rinkeby, the scene of last week’s riots when cars were set ablaze and journalists, shopkeepers and police officers were attacked.

“We weren’t filming anyone, we were just talking to police. They started getting nervous as men started masking up around us,” tweeted Pool.

Pool was followed out of the area by police after being told, “If we make an arrest right now there could be 50 people here in minutes with stones.”

“As we were walking out people started following us. The police escorted us to our car and we left. We had one small camera that we weren’t pointing at anyone,” said Pool.

“The men thought that we were Swedish press. As we were leaving they started yelling things us,” Pool subsequently tweeted.

The rapists were eventually brought to trial. One was sentenced to a year and four months imprisonment, two were given one-year prison sentences and two others were acquitted. Penalties were softened due to the age of the rapists.

The criminal law prohibiting blasphemy seem archaic in the eyes of many Finns, especially after the attack on the French satirical magazine, Charlie Hebdo. Unsuccessful attempts to decriminalize blasphemy took place between the 1910s until the 1990s. For many critics the concept of prohibited hate speech is problematic: there is no clear definition, a lapse that leads to confusion and acrimony.

Finland -- an open country that prides itself on respecting different ways of life, cultures and religions -- is being greatly tested by the wave of Middle Eastern asylum seekers.

Finland is a homogenous country that has roughly 5.5 million inhabitants, about 4% of which are foreign[1]. Twenty years ago, thousands of Somalis immigrated to Finland. In the last decade or so, more international students came to study, and more foreigners came to live and work.

Finnish universities and the academia are of a high level, and most Finns speak some English. But it is not easy for foreigners to find jobs. The barrier is the language: Finnish, like Hungarian, is a part of the Finno-Ugric languages, and difficult to learn.

How many asylum seekers from Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan arrived in Finland in 2015? The figures keep changing. Authorities estimate between 30,000 and 50,000 -- significant numbers in terms of the ratio of migrants to the native population.
Multiculturalism, Migration Policy, and the Law

"Hate speech" (vihapuhe) is defined in Finland as "speech that attacks a person or group on the basis of attributes such as gender, ethnic origin, religion, race, disability, or sexual orientation." Hate speech is prohibited if such an act is a kind of ethnic agitation. For many critics -- including Jussi Kristian Halla-aho, a member of the European Parliament for the True Finns Party -- the concept of prohibited hate speech is problematic: there is no clear definition, a lapse that leads to confusion and acrimony.

The current immigration situation in Finland is exceptional in nature. Muslims fleeing from the Middle East have opened up a humanitarian crisis the likes of which have not been seen in Europe in a long time. International public opinion and EU policy in the field are being tested. The current flow of Muslims through Sweden to northern Finland is chaotic.

The Ministry of the Interior website states that "Finland is an open and safe country" and explains the country's policy toward migration:

"The Strategy views migration as an opportunity: mobility creates international networks and brings with it new ways of doing things. Migration will help to answer Finland's dependency ratio problem, but at the same time, competition for workers between countries will increase. To succeed in this competition, Finland must be able to effectively attract skilled workers who will stay in the country for the longer term. As a responsible member of the international community, Finland is committed to providing international protection to those who need it."

The ministry also adds that "everyone can find a role to play," and "diversity is part of everyday life."

Government officials have taken this strategy personally. Prime Minister Juha Sipilä attracted the attention of the international media last autumn when he offered his second home in Kempele to refugees. He stressed the values of mercy and compassion in the context of immigration.

While the Finnish government can produce liberal policies calling for more openness towards immigration, real politics eventually come into play. When it came time to vote in Brussels on the EU's quota system for refugees and their relocation in EU countries, Finland abstained.

The ruling center-right political party, the Center Party (Keskusta), is both pragmatic and skeptical towards the European Union. The second most powerful political party, the True Finns (Perussuoamalaiset), is known for its anti-EU, anti-immigration and anti-Muslim rhetoric; its leader, Timo Soini, is the Minister of Foreign Affairs. The political cooperation between the Center Party and the True Finns exemplifies a powerful point on Finnish democracy: consensus is important.

Prior to last year's election, the True Finns website stated: "Finland is not to make everybody happy in the world. Finland should take care of the Finns first." The slogan explains much about the seemingly contradictory domestic and international immigration policies of the Finnish government.

The people of Finland have also commented on their government's stance on immigration by ousting of former Prime Minister Alexander Stubb in the 2015 election.[2] The President of the Republic, Sauli Väinämö Niinistö, said in February 2016 that international commitments are treated too seriously, and that Finland does not the control migration flows. Niinistö's comments were deemed politically incorrect and censored from public television for two days.

The Rape Problem

With all of Finland's talk of multiculturalism and immigration, new narratives about the corrosive effects of both multiculturalism and the wave of asylum seekers have surfaced in the media, shocking both the government and the public. News stories discuss the increase in unemployment, the mounting cost of social benefits during the decline of welfare state, problems in educating foreigners, and issues of assimilation with the majority culture, which respects Finnish values and a secular, liberal and open society -- all different from traditional Muslim values.

In Finland, more and more cases of Finnish girls and women being raped by asylum seekers are being widely publicized. Much of Finnish society seems shocked, embarrassed and angry because of the increase in rapes perpetrated by asylum seekers. These crimes have provoked many nationalists, and led to the establishment of a paramilitary movement known as the Soldiers of Odin. Members of the movement view themselves as Finnish patriots, roaming the streets of Finland, protecting against Muslim immigrant offenders.

The Soldiers of Odin are accused of being far-right and may de facto be related to previous skinhead movements from the 1990s. Their uniform is all black attire and their symbol makes reference to the ancient Viking god, Odin.

The Tapanila Rape

On March 9, 2015, five males gang-raped a young Finnish woman near the Tapanila railway station. The rapists were of Somali heritage and between the ages of 15-18. According to reports, the Somalis boarded the same train as the woman and began harassing her. They followed her off the train and, under cover of darkness, brutally raped her in a nearby park. They were immediately caught.

The Tapanila rape shocked the quiet suburb, which lies on the outskirts of Helsinki, and all of Finland too. Many were left wondering why these second-generation Somali citizens of Finland would carry out such a savage attack.

When news of the attack first came to light, it was published by a conservative website, and many in Finland claimed it was a false report. However, authorities soon confirmed that the rape occurred, and uproar ensued.

According to an article published by Finland Today, the Somali community feared that its members would be unfairly labelled as criminals, and racist attacks would increase. However, the article also noted that

The Kempele Rape

A second attack, the so-called Kempele rape, was met with a reaction by the prime minister himself. Kempele is a small town of roughly 15,000 inhabitants, located near Oulu. It is more famously known for its innovative entrepreneurs and high levels of overall satisfaction and happiness of its residents.

On the evening of November 23, 2015, a 14-year-old girl was walking home in Kempele, when a 17-year-old immigrant from Afghanistan attacked and raped her. She was later found by locals walking through the area.

A police dog led authorities to a nearby refugee center for underage asylum seekers. "The police dog patrol followed the tracks of the suspects, which led to an apartment. From the apartment, the police caught two men who are now suspected of aggravated statutory rape and aggravated child sexual abuse," the police said in a statement. Police could not immediately interrogate the suspects because a qualified interpreter was unavailable. The 17-year-old denied any involvement in the attack, and the second suspect was eventually freed.

The Kempele rape caused outrage in Finland. Seppo Kolehmainen, the National Police Commissioner, admitted after the attack that Finnish authorities had previously received reports of disturbances, physical altercations, thefts and inappropriate treatment of women from in and around the reception center.

The Soldiers of Odin

The Tapanila and Kempele rape cases became fertile ground for Finnish nationalists. According to their Finnish Facebook page (their website has been taken down), the Soldiers of Odin blame "Islamist intruders" for the "uncertainty, lack of safety and crime in Finland." The nationalist movement claims that the police have lost control and keeping order on the streets is now up to them. They say that preventing Muslim immigrants from committing crimes, especially rape, is one of their main priorities.

The Soldiers of Odin recently expanded their patrols to the city of Joensuu, in Eastern Finland. Paradoxically, the National Police Commissioner expressed his support for this type of self-organized behavior by the Finnish people. Some liberal Finns have accused the commissioner of racism and have demanded his dismissal.

Next for Finland?

Finland is a peaceful society, and many Finns are afraid of the consequences of the latest wave of immigration. However, due to political correctness and their own national character, most Finns abstain from openly expressing their concerns. But now the curtain of silence and political correctness has been fractured.

Finnish culture, law and policy encourage all people to live together despite cultural or ethnic difficulties. However, this can only go so far. Finns are now demanding action. The government must "do something" to show that Finland is still safe and to limit immigration.

Sweden’s Sexual Assault Crisis Presents a Feminist Paradox

Sweden prides itself on being a beacon of feminism. It has the most generous parental leave in the developed world, providing for 18 months off work, 15 of which can be used by fathers as paternity leave. A quarter of the paid parental leave is indeed used by men, and this is too little according to the Swedish government, which has made it a political priority to get fathers to stay at home longer with their children.

Sweden has never ranked lower than four in The Global Gender Gap Report, which has measured equality in economics, politics, education, and health for the World Economic Forum since 2006. Of all members of Parliament, 44 percent are women, compared to 19 percent of the United States Congress. Nearly two-thirds of all university degrees are awarded to women. Its government boasts that it is the “first feminist government” in the world, averring that gender equality is central to its priorities in decision-making and resource allocation.

But while Swedish women rank among the most equal in the world, they increasingly fear for their physical safety on the streets. Reported sex crimes increased by 61 percent between 2007 and 2016. Meanwhile a rise in gang violence among men–the number of victims injured by gunshots increased by 50 percent between 2004 and 2016–indirectly affects the safety of women. Police admit that rape cases are piling up without being investigated because resources are being drained by gang violence and shootings.

In June, a 12-year-old girl in the small town of Stenungsund reported that she had been dragged into a public restroom and raped by an older boy. Six weeks later the girl had still not been questioned by the police. Even though she believed she had identified the perpetrator, the police had yet to pay him a visit.

“We have so many similar cases,” a spokeswoman of the local police told the Swedish public television channel SVT on September 12, “and there are so few of us, that we simply don’t have the time.” She continued: “We have rape victims three years old,” and even their cases await investigation. Torgny Söderberg, head of the investigation section at the Stockholm police, confirmed the problem on SVT, acknowledging that homicides and attempted homicides draw resources away from rape investigations. “It’s hard to explain why rape cases are piling up awaiting investigation, but the other crimes are even more serious. We are forced to choose between two evils.”

In August of 2016, a woman reported that she had been victim of a gang rape involving ten men in Fittja outside Stockholm. Several suspects were identified early on through forensic evidence and yet it took almost a year until any arrests were made. “I work with rape cases daily, and this is one of the worst rape cases I’ve ever seen,” the victim’s lawyer, Elisabeth Massi-Fritz, told me. “My client has been subject to immense, psychological trauma that will remain with her for the rest of her life. It was nothing short of torture.” And yet, the suspects walked the streets for months before the police found the time to make arrests.

“Unfortunately, the police were too busy and lacked the resources to work the case thoroughly until this spring. Then a number of people were arrested in June,” explained the prosecutor, Markus Hankkio. Ten suspects have now been identified, and the trial will likely begin in October. Over a year after the suspected gang rape, police are now admitting that the same men may have committed more rapes while the police were too busy to investigate this crime, and they are urging other victims to come forward.

Another infamous case in the city of Uppsala became known as the ”Snapchat rape.” Two men filmed their rape of a young girl in real time and then uploaded the video clip to the Snapchat app. Another girl saw the clip, saved it and told her mother, who then alerted the police. It was two months before she was contacted by investigators. “It was terrible, because what you saw in that film, it was the most disgusting thing I’ve ever seen. And that it was so widely spread, and then that they didn’t get arrested,” the mother told SVT. The two suspects were at long last arrested and convicted of rape, but recent statistics show that this is a rare exception to the norm in Sweden. In 2016, only eleven percent of reported rapes were prosecuted, a decrease from twenty percent in 2014.

For more than a decade, the prevailing perception in Sweden has been that rapes and other sex crimes have not become more frequent in spite of data that suggest the contrary. Instead, rising numbers of reported rapes have been dismissed as an effect of a broadened legal definition in 2005 and 2013, and an increased propensity among women to report crimes. Paradoxically, growing rape numbers have thus been used as proof of Swedish gender equality.

There are, however, reasons to think that there may indeed be a real increase in sex crime. While precise numbers are hard to come by, surveys of victims indicate that the share of women in Sweden stating that they have been victims of sex crime has grown rapidly. Self-reported sex crimes doubled between 2012 and 2015, from 1.4 to 3 percent of the female population. The number of women reporting that they feel unsafe in their own neighborhood has increased to almost one in three—an “alarming” development according to The Swedish National Council for Crime Prevention (Brå), a government agency.

Previous studies (by now more than a decade old) have shown a large overrepresentation of immigrants, particularly from patriarchal societies in the Middle East and North Africa, among the suspects of sex crimes in Sweden. Overrepresentation of immigrants has been even higher when it comes to group rapes, especially with three or more assailants. According to an official study from 1996, immigrant males were 4.5 times as likely as Swedes to commit rape. Immigrants from Algeria, Libya, Morocco, and Tunisia were particularly overrepresented, being more than 20 times as likely to commit the same crime. In total, 53 percent of rape suspects were either first or second generation immigrants.

A similar study, conducted in 2005, showed an even higher overrepresentation of immigrants among sex crime suspects, by then up to 5.1 times as likely as Swedes to commit rape (see pages 70-77 for a summary in English). In the 2005 study, Brå explained the growing over-representation with reference to demographics and immigration: “[T]he number of people in Sweden belonging to the group of refugees, which have in earlier studies been shown to have an especially high propensity to commit crime, has increased.” It is a plausible hypothesis that the same mechanism is at work now.

During the recent migration crisis, Sweden took in more refugees per capita than any other country in Europe. However, the exact link between sex crimes and immigration is not known, since the Swedish government will not update its statistics, and the data, which are still being collected, have not been made available to the public. In an interview with the Swedish evening tabloid Expressen on February 25, The Minister of Justice, Morgan Johansson, said that the facts are available in the 2005 study, and that no update is necessary.

Germany: Surge in Migrant Attacks on Police

Violent attacks against German police have reached epidemic proportions, and Chancellor Angela Merkel’s open-door migration policy is to blame, official statistics show.

The Federal Criminal Police Office (Bundeskriminalamt, BKA) reported 36,755 attacks against German police in 2016 — or an average of 100 per day, a significant increase over previous years.

Violence — including verbal and physical assaults, and even murder — against police is rampant in all 16 of Germany’s federal states. According to the BKA, the epicenter of the problem in 2016 was North Rhine-Westphalia (8,929 incidents), the state with the largest migrant population, followed by: Bavaria (4,930); Baden-Württemberg (4,355); Berlin (3,154); Lower Saxony (3,030); Hesse (1,870); Saxony (1,573); Rhineland-Palatinate (1,537); Hamburg (1,339); Thüringen (1,228); Schleswig-Holstein (1,237); Brandenburg (1,009); Saxony-Anhalt (899); Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (658); Saarland (521); and Bremen (486).

Preliminary data, recently leaked to German public radio, indicate that in terms of violence against German law enforcement officers, 2017 will be a record-breaking year. In Berlin alone, attacks against police this year are up 70% in Görlitzer Park, 35% at the Warsaw Bridge and 15% at Kottbusser Tor, according to the Berliner Morgenpost.

Official statistics do not reveal the source of the violence but do show a spike in attacks against police since 2015, when Merkel allowed into the country more than a million migrants, mostly Muslim, from Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Anecdotal evidence corroborates claims by police that migrants are behind many of the attacks.

In Gelsenkirchen, for instance, two police officers stopped a driver after he ran a red light. The driver stepped out of the car and ran away. When police caught up with him, they were confronted by more than 50 members of an Arab clan. A 15-year-old attacked a policeman from behind and strangled him to the point of unconsciousness. In another incident, police were surrounded and physically assaulted by more than 60 members of an Arab clan.

Senior members of the Gelsenkirchen police department subsequently held a secret meeting with representatives of three Arab clans in order to “cultivate social peace between Germans and Lebanese.” A leaked police report revealed that the clans told Police Chief Ralf Feldmann that “the police cannot win a war with the Lebanese because we outnumber them.” The clan members added: “This applies to all of Gelsenkirchen if we so choose.”

In nearby Duisburg, a police officer asked a man to move his car, which was illegally parked. The man refused and began shouting at the officer. Within minutes, more than 250 people appeared at the scene and began harassing the police officer, who called for backup. More than 50 policemen and 18 police vehicles were required to resolve what had begun as a routine traffic procedure.

In Düsseldorf, 15 police officers were injured when they tried to break up an illegal rally organized by Kurds celebrating the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party or PKK. Police used pepper spray to restore order.

In Mülheim, around 80 members of two rival clans got into a mass brawl following a dispute between two teenagers. When police arrived, they were attacked with bottles and stones. More than 100 police, backed up by helicopters, were deployed to restore order. Five people were taken into custody but then released.

In Dortmund, more than 40 migrants engaged in a fight at a refugee shelter. When police arrived, they were “massively attacked” by the mob. Police used dogs to restore order.

In Leipzig, an Iraqi man was stabbed and seriously injured during a mass brawl in front of a Kebab restaurant. When police intervened, the mob attacked them with bottles and stones.

In Naumburg, police confiscated the driver’s license of Ahmed A., a 21-year-old member of a Syrian clan, during a traffic stop. Almost immediately, police were surrounded by a mob of other clan members. The police retreated. The mob then marched to the police station, which they proceeded to sack.

In Würzburg, a 17-year-old Afghan asylum seeker brandishing an axe and shouting “Allahu Akbar” seriously injured five people on a train. The assailant was shot dead by police after he charged at them with the axe. Green Party MP Renate Künast criticized the police for using lethal force.

Some police believe that Germany’s politically correct judicial system encourages violence against them.

In Hanover, for example, a court handed suspended sentences to six members of a Kurdish clan who seriously wounded two dozen police officers during a violent rampage in Hameln. The court’s ruling was greeted with anger and derision by police.

The case went back to January 2014, when a 26-year-old clan member, arrested for robbery, tried to escape from the magistrate’s office by jumping out of a seventh-floor courtroom window. The suspect was taken to the hospital, where he died. Members of his clan subsequently ransacked the hospital, as well as the court, and attacked police with rocks and other projectiles; 24 police officers and six paramedics were injured.

The judge said he was lenient because the defendants witnessed the death of the 26-year-old and were traumatized. The judge also revealed that he had reached a deal with the clan, which among other effects prevented police from testifying in court.

Dietmar Schilff, chairman of the GdP police union in Lower Saxony, said that the ruling had left many police officers shaking their heads in disbelief: “All police forces expect protection and support from the state.” He added:

“If we want to protect those who ensure public security, it must be clear that anyone who attacks police officers attacks the state — and has to fear appropriate consequences. It does not matter from which milieu the perpetrators come.”

Some municipalities are taking measures to protect police. In Mainz, for example, where violence against police has jumped by more than 50% since 2014, police are now being outfitted with bodycams to deter violence. In Bremen, police have been supplied with “anti-spit-masks” to prevent detainees from assaulting police.

In a bestselling book, German police officer Tania Kambouri blamed the deteriorating security situation on migrants who have no respect for law and order. In an interview with Deutschlandfunk radio, she said:

“For weeks, months and years I have noticed that Muslims, mostly young men, do not have even a minimum level of respect for the police. When we are out patrolling the streets, we are verbally abused by young Muslims. There is the body language and insults like ‘sh*t cop’ when passing by. If we make a traffic stop, the aggression increases even further, this is overwhelmingly the case with migrants.

“I wish these problems were recognized and clearly addressed. If necessary, laws need to be strengthened. It is also very important that the judiciary, that the judges issue effective rulings. It cannot be that offenders continue to fill the police files, hurt us physically, insult us, whatever, and there are no consequences. Many cases are closed or offenders are released on probation or whatever. Yes, what is happening in the courts today is a joke.”

Asylum seeker accused of raping a German woman in front of her boyfriend in terrifying knife-point attack calls her a 'prostitute' in furious courtroom outburst

A Ghanaian asylum seeker accused of raping a German woman while forcing her boyfriend to watch called his victim 'a prostitute' in court.

The man - only identified as Eric X - is accused of raping a 23-year-old woman after spotting the couple camping in a nature reserve near Bonn, west Germany in April.

Appearing in a Bonn district court today, Eric X, 32, defied his lawyers' advice to stay silent and after insulting his alleged victim, he added that anyone who believed her were 'filthy'.

The attack took place on April 2, shortly after midnight. The couple were already asleep when Eric X allegedly cut through the tarpaulin, threatened them with a tree saw and ordered them to hand over their valuables - six euros (£5.35) and a music box.

After robbing them he is said to have dragged the 23-year-old woman outside, where he raped her and forced her boyfriend, 26, to watch.

German media have reported that the boyfriend's call to police was initially considered a joke.

The suspect was arrested soon after in nearby Siegburg after a man recognised him from a composite picture of the sex attacker.

Today, Eric X.'s lawyers ordered the accused to remain silent, but according to local media his responded by shouting in court: 'Why should I remain silent, about a case where I don't know anything about?'

Eric X. said: 'If the girl claims she has been raped, she must be a prostitute.

'All who help her in the lie are filthy people.'

Lawyer Gudrun Roth, who represents the 23-year-old student, said that it is 'always a slap in the face, if someone who has experienced such a thing is mocked even further.'

Both of the victims, from Stuttgart, south-west Germany are currently undergoing psychological care as according to local media they are still heavily traumatised.

Following his arrest it emerged that the man had been served notice by the German authorities ten days before the attack, informing him he would face deportation to Italy as his asylum application had been rejected.

He arrived in Italy in January and his asylum application was immediately rejected but by then he had made the journey to Kassel in Germany.

The suspect lived for a time in asylum seeker housing accommodation in the town of Sankt Augustin, near Bonn.

But local media have questioned why he was not immediately deported.

Vanessa Nolte, of the Cologne district authorities, said: 'On 23 March he received the order, on 24th March he appealed it.'

Bonn police spokesman Robert Scholten said: 'As well as from the rape, we found a lot of DNA samples at the crime scene, which are clearly from the arrested man.'

The trial is expected to last eight days.

Attackers Freed after Horrific 4 hour Gangrape.
We need to talk about what is happening in Sweden.

This alleged "feminist superpower" where women's rights reign supreme. The Swedish socialist government brags about how it is a "feminist" government. Considering that, it is really strange then what just happened in a particular case in which a woman was gang raped. Because this is just absurd and frankly, downright scandalous.

A woman was brutally gang raped by 20 men for over 4 hours in an apartment staircase in a Swedish no-go zone. Now all men have been set free.

So on the 14th of August 2016, in a no-go zone called Fittja, which is a suburb of the capital Stockholm, a woman went to buy some drugs. Right away we can tell that this is not a very good idea at all, she will now meet with the criminal underworld of Sweden. These no-go zone gangs which run these lawless areas. These are the very people she is about to meet. And it did not end well. I myself has had the displeasure of meeting these people before, and even for me as a man it was not the safest thing I have experienced. I was reporting on some protests that happened in Gothenburg, and as it turns out, people from these no-go zones turned up with slings and threw rocks at the police. In one instance a rock flew right over my head. Anyway, back to this horrible, tragic story.

When she arrived the men were waiting for her. According to the newspaper Metro, the woman said to the police during questioning that "it was 19-20 men waiting for me...they discussed who would get on me first and i panicked"

She continues "They dragged me up to the 2nd floor. Many stood around waiting with their pants pulled down and they were waiting for their turn".

This was a grotesque and sadistic attack. According to the prosecution they even smashed her head into the stairs, and the woman passed out several times during the attack. The woman herself comments that one of the worst parts that she remembers from the attack, was when they positioned her so that one man sodomized her from behind, while another man put his penis in her mouth. They also threatened her to be quiet using a knife.

This all took place for 4 whole hours. Just imagine that. This womans life is destroyed. Due to the police being completely under-resourced at the moment according to prosecutor Markus Hankkio (ahh, the wonders of Socialism combined with mass migration) it took a whole year for the police to arrest any suspects. So finally the police managed to identify 5 of the attackers. All 5 suspects are migrants, including from Iraq and Somalia. One of the suspects, a 23 year old says to the newspaper Metro that "they laughed...it was just a fun thing".

This attack was recorded on video. So there is plenty of evidence.

Now after this horrible attack, you would think she at least would get some help from a good Samaritan? Nope. Quite the contrary (remember, this is a Swedish no-go zone). After having endured this abuse for 4 hours and the woman finally was left alone, she asked passers by for help - in vain.

"Yuck, you have sperm in your face and on your clothes, don't involve us" - one person is alleged to have told her.

Others told the woman that she was "disgusting" and refused to help her. She was left alone on the ground with sperm in her face. No one wanted to help the poor woman. One man who was a witness to the horrible attack, decided to not intervene. Reason is because he had lived in Fittja for 15 years and had "learnt not to say or hear so much".

Even the guard at the subway station refused to help the woman. She had to help herself get on the subway and get into central Stockholm to the nearest hospital.

My blood is reaching boiling point as I am writing this. How can anyone be so cruel and inhumane? It really staggers belief. You really hope these people get to face the full force of the law, and the woman at least can get some justice...?

Well, being Sweden, that is where you are wrong.

All 5 men that they managed to arrest, have now been set free by the Södertörn court. Found not guilty. This despite video evidence and DNA evidence (they managed to trace the DNA in the sperm the woman had all over her from the attack).

As I wrote earlier, the woman went to the hospital were doctors confirmed she had physical injuries from the attack. The court's conclusions on this? Well, they couldn't determine if the injuries were from the attack or if she had them from earlier on...GIVE ME A BREAK.

The court also determined that the woman had indeed had oral sex with 3 of the men.

So let me get this straight. The court did aknowledge she had sex with the men. They did aknowledge she had injuries. They had video and DNA evidence. Yet, the men have all been found not guilty. Why?

Well, the men claimed that the gang rape was a payment for drugs and that the woman had willingly done this to pay for her stuff. So basically "voluntary gangrape" then?

And it seems that the Swedish court bought this hook, line and sinker. Well, imagine my shock. I wonder if the same conclusion would have come if the attackers had not been from a no-go zone, and they had all been ethnic Swede's?

So even if we accept this excuse, shouldn't the men then at least be found guilty of selling drugs and buying sex, things which are both illegal in Sweden?

Nope, apparantly not, because they have all been set free.

This is a scandal beyond proportions. The womans lawyer, Elisabeth Massi Fritz calls the ruling "a shame for our justice process" and she continues "no perpetrators should be able to get away which such a horrible and careless gangrape. This is the worst gangrape I have dealt with in 26 years. I don't feeel that my client has had a fair hearing"

Naturally, after this ruling a group of women gathered in Fittja to protest it and rightfully so. However, a group of men turned up and started to harass the protesters. This was caught on video, which has gone viral on facebook.

"Where you there when it happened? I was there" - one of the men shouted to the protesters.

This is the reality that we have in Sweden right now. A woman was brutally gangraped for 4 hours by 20 men. Eventually all the men were set free by the court. When people turn out to protest, they are harassed and mocked. These people are literally getting away with rape. And they are mocking us right in the face. And our politicians who are supposed to protect us, have completely failed. Instead they are they very ones responsible for all of this happening in the first place. Former Prime Minister of Sweden, Fredrik Reinfeldt who initiated the mass migration process into Sweden, has said on TV that "Sweden belongs to migrants".

Very well, because that seems to be exactly what is happening.

Swedish Feminist Hushes Up Refugee Sex Assault Against Own Daughter

A #Metoo feminist and a mother allegedly engaged in a relationship with an Afghan refugee has refused to report his sexual assault on her preteen daughter on the grounds that it would lead to his expulsion from Sweden.

The middle-aged woman, who works at a migrant home, reportedly started a relationship with one of the "refugee children" and allowed him to move into her place. The cohabitation ended with her fosterling sexually attacking her 12-year-old daughter. However, the woman refused to report the assault and allowed the culprit to stay, the news outlet Fria Tider reported.

"I was afraid he would be sent back to Afghanistan," the woman explained, as quoted by Fria Tider.

During the trial, the girl said that her 45-year-old mother had worked at a home for "unaccompanied minors" in Sölvesborg, Blekinge County. When one of the refugees officially came of age and could no longer take advantage of the accommodation center, the mother started a relationship with him and let him move into her home.

Soon, the Afghan began to stalk the woman's 12-year-old daughter, trying to kiss and hug her.

One Saturday night in late September 2017, the Afghan reportedly pushed his fingers into the girl's underwear, while allegedly under the influence of alcohol. The girl responded by pulling away and running into her bedroom. Later, she told her mom about the incident. However, the woman let her Afghan boyfriend stay despite his dangerous ways.

"He stayed with us, and it felt outlandish to me," the girl said during the trial, as quoted by Fria Tider.

The next day, the 12-year-old refused to go home from school to her mother without contacting her estranged father, who upon hearing the story, reported the incident to the police.

"Mom did not want to make a police report because she was afraid that the Afghan would be forced to leave Sweden," the girl was quoted as saying. The woman herself confirmed this during the trial.

According to the girl's older sister's testimony, the mother had told her to keep quiet about what had happened.
