That is a horrible thought. Hillary becoming president? ... I hope something as awful as that never happens. It probably never will because who would vote for Hillary when we have someone as great, caring, insightful, and honest as Trump.

Ok. Still confused about the gun control thing and how it is being handled.

So the Democrats did the sit in thing and went to social media and made it seem like the Republicans refused to vote on the issue. Now a lot of Americans are thinking that is the case. But before the sit in, there were 4 votes from 4 different measures on gun control coming from both sides. Votes were cast and in each case they were shot down.

Both the Democrat and Republican proposals wanted the same thing - to restrict guns to people on the Terror Watch list and people with mental disabilities but neither side agreed on the methods to do this.

The Democrats failed to mention that in their social media campaign. They are making it seem like the Republicans do not want gun control and even said "The Senate GOP have decided to sell weapons to ISIS" because the gun control methods that the democrats proposed were voted down... which is completely misleading. But now social media is all abuzz with statements like that. Both sides want it. But the Democrats are purposely trying to make the American people believe something completely different and now the general public is believing it too.  Some Democrat lawmakers were even saying they would make it as painful as possible for Republicans to oppose the gun amendments that the Democrats proposed.

What kind of bully tactic is that? Or is that just simple politics?

Do they really care about the issue? Seems they would just rather twist it as a reason to show the public that the other side is bad before the upcoming elections.

Any like I had of the Democratic party is now gone. Taking to social media and purposely misleading the public on what went down is a horrible tactic. It's a shame that most media outlets won't report the truth since the sensationalism of the sit-in is much better news for their viewer count and ratings.

That isn't entirely accurate. The sit in and vote were about a specific piece of legislation that was voted down in the Senate but the Democratic party wanted the house to vote on it anyway so they could give voters a chance to see who sides where.

The GOP did not want this because many of the people who were up for reelection were adamantly opposed to new gun regulations by default.

The law put forth by the Democratic party was garbage. It was so faulty and poorly written that it deserved to be shot down.

The GOP had put forth a different plan which basically did absolutely nothing to curb sales to "terrorists" and the Democratic party rejected it.

It was "politics as usual" on both sides. Their campaign was to try and pressure the gop into voting ( however) so that in the election they could smear them. Republicans are just as bad and have done similar things in the past. They even threatened (and openly did) letting our credit rating tank which fucked over our economy big time.

If you really believed that all lives matter we wouldn't need to say black lives matter

Didn't somebody already point out how the healthcare mandate was a republican idea? And that now the republican party is using it to damn the democratic party as if they didn't support it?

Seems a little pick and choosy. They both suck. Vote Kanye West 2020.

Interesting perspective. But a lot of it is reaching.

She said feminism glorifies single mothers as if that is the reason there are single mothers.

At the end of the day, she never explained how the conservative ways of life benefits the poor with some bullshit statement of "Democrats want to be the voice of the poor so they keep you poor". A lot of things in our system that keep people poor are the conservative ideas that prevent self sufficiency like giving large companies huge tax breaks and letting them underpay their workers. Which, to be completely fair, can't be blamed completely on Republicans since the Democrats are letting it happen too.

And just becoming/voting Republican obviously won't get people rich like she made it out to. We had Bush for 8 years before Obama, neither of them really fixed the problem. Been the same shit for decades. So the only logical conclusion you can come to is neither side gives a flying fuck about the poor.

I've listened to some of her podcasts and interviews and think her messages address your concerns with her idea that "conservatives help themselves." Rather than looking at party politics ("...So the only logical conclusion you can come to is neither side gives a flying fuck about the poor...") she advocates working with a system of personal education and self-improvement as opposed to buying into a victim mentality where people feel done even before they start, and opposes more generations waiting in line for handouts they feel they deserve. (And to be clear, my crack whore mom was on food stamps that she traded for drugs regularly. And as far as I know I'm white.)

We spend so much time and money overseas that we forget about the poverty and suffering here in our own country.

I support the idea of self made success, I just don't think it's as possible as people try to make it out to be. Not impossible, but highly unlikely. Independent businesses get squashed out and fucked over by huge corporations like with what Monsanto is doing with independent farmers. Or how huge companies like Walmart pour money into other countries by buying supplies from them for cheap prices just so they can sell them at prices too low for local companies to compete with as they under pay and fuck over their employees. Things like this is why we have to have welfare programs to feed people that are still working. Which absolutely does get taken advantage of. I think anybody that's ever grown up ghetto knows how much food stamps gets taken advantage of. I've known plenty of people that traded food stamps for drugs as well. Hell, Old Dirty Bastard collected food stamps til the day he died. I personally hate welfare queens. Meth head sluts that keep having kids so they can keep getting those checks are a plague on this nation. At the same time, I'd much rather have them than starving kids. Plenty of children would starve with out these programs. I wish we had more independent success stories than food stamp families, but both sides have not done shit to fix it. Both sides are kissing the asses of large corporations that fund their campaigns. Which is a huge reason I wouldn't support either candidate. Trump is a greedy and corrupt corporation and Hillary is funded and corrupted by greedy corporations including Trump.

Edit: So I guess I'm some where in the middle on the issue but lean more to the conservative side wanting more self sufficiency than government programs.

Well, one more day till the Clinton campaign is over (hopefully).

Waiting for that "October Surprise" from WikiLeaks which is touted as something that will inflict a mortal wound on her campaign. It was supposed to happen on the Embassy balcony but was canceled due to security concerns from revelations like:

and

https://twitter.com/wikileaks/status/763380671796678656

With the body count of people who reveal information about Hillary or of people defending Julian Assange on the rise, I don't blame them for cancelling it. No matter. He will still do a press conference via video.

Yes, you will always find info on how it is all just conspiracy non-sense and fabricated etc. But I am still hoping that the release will end the Clinton campaign. He has not officially said that he is revealing the damaging info tomorrow but many hope that he does. He has only said that he will reveal it at the appropriate time to do the most damage to her. With early voting already started in many states, I hope it is soon.

I'd kinda like to know the answer to that question myself...

The two of you are really doing a great job of making me question just what the hell you have to do with Juggalos (besides liking the music) if these are the kinds of views you have, as Juggalos seem to represent EVERYTHING you hate and despise and fight against allowing to happen.

You're making yourselves out to be political trolls of your own sort. Who the FUCK calls themselves an American and WANTS government institutions to be hacked?

Do you really think a flurry of uninformed phobic conspiracy memes are gonna "do it"?

Here's a thing: How about after the election, you start going to Gatherings and all juggalo events wearing a shirt that says, "I Voted For A Racist"? Or maybe one that says, "I'm Not A Bigot.... But The Guy I Voted For Is". Or "If You Can Read This, The Uninsured Single Mother Working Three Jobs For Minimum Wage Taking Public Transportation Must Have Fallen Off My Government's Back"? Cuz that's the gear you're dudding yourself up with.

And as I've said before, my feelings regarding your views don't really extend beyond this thread or this political conversation, but you two are really shaping up to be the kind of assholes I yell at the tv about now on a daily basis. You both seem just as incapable of answering a question without deflecting it or rephrasing the question to turn it around as if it is an answer, as the chromosome deficient "surrogates" they cattle prod out in front of the cameras with their smarmy smiles talking out of the side of their mouths.

"I'm NOT talking about the OTHER kids... I'm talking about YOU!"

Based on your previous responses, *I* would tell you both that YOU have less than thirty days to NOT go vote (Like you've said you usually don't) and save yourself from the permanent brand of having willingly and knowingly cast a vote for what amounts to NO REASON AT ALL... and you will have done the most harm you could have. For this country AND yourselves...

Seriously... ya'll either need to drop the troll front or come right the fuck out and speak some more on how much you are AGAINST the kinds of things that are helping keep families (including JUGGALO FAMILIES) from going hungry and being homeless. Ya know, seeing as how the whole concept of Juggalo Family could be considered the "socialism" you two revile so much as to fill a page with memes...

 That was a joke.

The two of you are really doing a great job of making me question just what the hell you have to do with Juggalos (besides liking the music) if these are the kinds of views you have, as Juggalos seem to represent EVERYTHING you hate and despise and fight against allowing to happen.

I don't see Juggalos representing "EVERYTHING" I hate and despise and fight against allowing to happen. There are some Juggalos that I disagree with politically and some that I agree with. It seems I don't fit your definition of Juggalo but as has been shown in these forums many times, there is no one conclusive definition of Juggalo.

You're making yourselves out to be political trolls of your own sort. Who the FUCK calls themselves an American and WANTS government institutions to be hacked?

I don't do any of this to troll. It is just me stating my opinion. I also do not believe that being an American excludes wanting government transparency. While I disagree with leaks and hacks that put lives in danger, I am fully for anything that exposes illegal activity done by the government. There are white hat and black hat hackers. Nefarious hacks I have never been down with.

Do you really think a flurry of uninformed phobic conspiracy memes are gonna "do it"?

The pictures that some mistakenly call "memes" (which have nothing to do with memetics in the least) are images that I think are humorous. I would not post them otherwise. Like most humor, I doubt that they appeal to everyone.

As long as the Clinton voters also wear shirts that say "I Voted For A Racist". There are many examples from simple google and bing searches that show her racist statements and even some of her policies. But my support of Republicanism is not about racism. If it was, I would not support either major party in this election. This has to do with core Republican beliefs.

I think most people on the government's back should "fall off". I have been unemployed and homeless. I did not take a single government handout or even unemployment. I took myself, in the situation I was in, and worked my way back to where I am. I worked as a day laborer doing things like digging ditches for money. I have been a "thrower" on the back of garbage trucks. It worked. I never had the money to take classes in computer programming but I took it upon myself to teach myself programming to get to where I am today and now I teach computer programming classes at conferences where every year they ask me back to teach.

When there is no safety net for failure, you make sure you do not fail. If you do, you climb your way back up. It can be done legally and with good conscience without having to step on the backs of others.

I have tried, to the best of my abilities to answer questions. While I have learned that I sometimes do not understand the nature of the questions, and sometimes, through no fault but my own, misread the context or tone of posts on here, I strive to give the best response I can give when directly confronted with questions or opposing viewpoints. When there is lack of question or viewpoint or a lull in time from the last post in a particular topic, I do find that I will spur the topic back up (or at least spur one of the derailments within a topic). At that point, I don't try to be as concise with my posts, but jump more towards my opinions with a little humor thrown in with whatever pictures I find from google images that may even slightly have some reference to what I post. Most are not even thought about for more than a few seconds. I see a picture, it makes me laugh or even cringe, then I post it.

I am not sure what you mean by "NO REASON AT ALL". I have given many reasons in the past for my preference of Republicanism to Democratism. I have always thought the exact opposite in terms of harm to the country and others. To me, a vote for a democrat I have always seen as harmful to the country. Again, has to do with my core beliefs.

Seriously... ya'll either need to drop the troll front or come right the fuck out and speak some more on how much you are AGAINST the kinds of things that are helping keep families (including JUGGALO FAMILIES) from going hungry and being homeless.

Homeless and hungry are both states I have been in. It made me take responsibly and work as hard as I could to better myself. I don't think liberal policies like government hand outs to the extent that they are at are the solution. I think that just leads to complacency instead of the absolute forced need to do something different to get into a different situation than where one finds themselves (whether self inflicted or external inflicted).

Ya know, seeing as how the whole concept of Juggalo Family could be considered the "socialism" you two revile so much as to fill a page with memes...

Just sayin'...

Any time you see a picture, consider it mostly a joke. I don't take them too seriously and in most cases I post them because I found them humorous or cringe worthy or even both.  I also do not consider the concept of Juggalo Family to be socialism. While I will help out anyone in absolute need, Juggalo or not, and help them get on a path where they can get along without help, I do not believe in regulated help. Socialism believes in societal ownership of product and production with regulations determining the what, where, hows, and whys. This is not an idea I can get behind. Apart from the inherent inhibitions of incentives and innovation that socialism brings, it also brings lack of liberty and freedom. Since there are more liberal policies than there are conservative policies that limit liberty and freedom, I find it odd that Juggalos in the majority support systems that lead to a decrease in those things. It just seems that is something that Juggalos would be against.

I don't know. I did not understand that video. :(

...

I try to do my best when addressing your points. I hope that you understand where I am coming from even if you don't agree with them.
