It seems there was some (more) mass infiltration from Russian hacking groups into US systems, including the DoD and the Pentagon. They also had access to nuclear plants and other energy companies.

Honestly, I hate most K-drama. Too romance-driven for me. Also it’s crazy how many people think the men/women in dramas are going to be the people they will meet and date when they come to Korea.

I think it’s a good thing in a way. It exposes the need for more robust cyber security. FBI/CISA/ODNI formed a new “Cyber Unified Coordination Group (UCG)” to unify the government and address the attack. This was all accomplished via any system that used the SolarWinds monitoring system.
Also, not just Russia. The DNI stated (which the headlines fail to mention since most media like to take the Russia angle) that it was China, Iran, and Russia.
What is interesting is that Dominion Voting systems uses Solar Winds monitoring also. While ISP logs do not show that voting sites with Dominion had traffic from China, Iran, or Russia, it does show communication with servers in Germany and Spain from the end of October to mid November. These are from systems that were not (according to current U.S. laws), supposed to be connected to the internet.
