You are correct. It is not surprising that you read the media article and drank the kool-aide like a good little sheep. Did you even bother to look for the actual court documents filed by the federal prosecutors? It seems only one person is stated to have had that intention per the prosecutor’s statement. And that person is not even being charged for attempted assassination or kidnapping. Only misdemeanors.

There is way more going on than what the one-sided “Trump bad” media is reporting. Luckily court documents are public. This is turning out to not be an Trump speech instigated riot but a pre-planned event that (despite what the media is presenting) did have connections to the left (and also the right). It seems to have been timed to occur after the Trump speech to give 45 minutes for people to get to the capitol after his speech. Trump did not start his speech on time and ended it late. Video of people who left to head over to the capitol did not even make it there before the capitol was breached.
Not the first time the capitol was breached in Trump’s term. Happened during the Kavanaugh vote also. Though no one was evacuated and the people who did that were praised by the media and many members of congress.
The handful of people who did this were not doing what the majority of the participants were calling for. The majority wanted a few things: true signature verification re-audit of the votes with bipartisan adjudication of the counties that had over 70% error rates (normal is less than 1%) of votes sent to adjudication, and they wanted forensic investigation of the machines used to count the votes.
As for those saying there was little to no evidence of voter fraud. There are 10’s of thousands of filed sworn affidavits from both republicans and democrats who witnessed irregularities. These are all filed in various courts in the swing states. In the court cases where the case was denied or thrown out, no evidence was reviewed even though the affidavits were filed with the court. One court even said they would not allow the case saying that it should have been filed before the election occurred. With so much distrust in the election process, a clean signature matched audit with sampled post voter contact to verify adjudication of voter intent was handled correctly along with the forensic audit of machines would restore the trust. We asked for specific counties and they gave us different counties saying “look, everything was correct”. When the whole country had vote data heuristics that matched all previous heuristic mathematical models except for a handful of counties that strangely happen to match the exact counties that had to be won by Biden to make him take the swing states, it raises questions. The probability of heuristic aberrations in those counties being non-fraudulent has been calculated by multiple statisticians as being nearly impossible (in the order of over 1 in 10^30). And those aberrations are only in those specific counties and only for the presidential seat, not any of the others.

I… somewhat agree with those sources. But just because a news site isn’t one of those doesn’t mean it’s trustworthy. The site you linked isn’t reliable whatsoever.
I think you’re a little jealous that you can’t go to a restaurant and order dog meat as I can. You seem to bring it up a lot.
That being said, it’s not particularly common here. I’ve only had it a couple of times, and only with middle-aged coworkers. I’ve had the soup and the liver. I’d like to try the stew or just the meat itself next time.
