I guess when Democrats are caught attempting to convict on fraudulent evidence
they realize they had better not, lest they themselves be investigated for any number of crimes since nearly ALL politicians are corrupt and secretly breaking the law in one way or another. I wouldn’t be surprised if a few Democrats thus voted to NOT convict out of being put in a tough spot – FORCED to do the right thing. Follow the law, don’t convict on fraudulent evidence and don’t virtue signal.
