I'm probably going for Clinton. Stein makes the most sense politically but in the end I decided that even though Clinton and I have different goals, many of my goals require incremental implementation. Next election, we will try again with Bernie or Stein.

The wife and one of my best and most intelligent buddies (who is visiting me again on the 18th!) both voted Hillary. On a pesonal level I don't agree, but on a sense level, it's the sensible choice for the greater good at the moment.

But I voted Jill. My first time voting. I've already had 2 violent incidents over it. I'll explain when I'm less distracted.

Voted early for Hillary.  I've never volunteered for anything in my life, but I took off work and came down to PA to volunteer for the campaign tomorrow and Tuesday.  Mainly because I realized that if the worst should happen and Trump gets elected, I couldn't live with myself if I hadn't at least tried to do something.  Not like me to feel that way either.

No idea what they're gonna have me do, I hope it's something cool like shredding emails...

"Greater good" was said intentionally right lol?

I was going to go Stein but third party only needs 5% to get a guaranteed spot on the ballot next election so I went with Johnson. He has the better chance of getting the numbers.

Also, fuckin hurry up and be less distracted. We need to know those stories.

Man, without exaggeration, I had FOUR mother fuckers come to my door today for Hillary. It went from a polite "thanks but no thanks" to me just opening the door and saying "fuck off" before I slowly shut it on them as they were trying to give their speech.

Chances are that's what you're gonna have to do. Door to door salesman and such. Be prepared for people to get hella mean on you.

Pretty much. I want to feel bad for em but then I remember that they said they were willing to do it.

They will likely have you making phone calls. Door to door is inefficient. Calling is easier and you can help people find their polling place. I did that a bunch for Obama. Even had to calla dude named mccain. Lol.

And one time a few days later i got a voicemail from a woman and it said something like "hey i had a call from this number and it said the area code is California (I had called Montana)... I don't know who this is But the last I heard was that my sister was in California *chokes back tears* so if this is you please call back we miss you"

Broke my fucking heart.

raw.

i was working a miserable telemarketing gig [cell phone ripoff] when 9/11 slapped us.  we didnt shut down, they just told us 'not to use the tragedy as a reason to buy cell phone plans'.

next day, i called a woman who [very justifiably] blew up all over me for makin her think they had finally gotten the call to let them know that her father was alive.  thaaat sucked.

incidentally, at the end of my shift, the dick in charge pointed out that i couldve sold more phones if i had played up 9/11.

i never went back to the pricks, not even to get my check.

I voted for Jill Stein.  1st time I've ever voted for a president.  I just couldn't vote for Trump OR Hilary.  Actually, the only reason I voted was because of Adm. 2 here in Florida.....I could give an inch of a fuck on who becomes president.  Their only the manager of MacDonald's, not the owner.   f-u-2

Here's the first one that I typed on another thread last week:

Just came home from getting a six pack of Labatt Blue, when I ran into an old acquaintance. A middle-aged Hispanic man, who was shit drunk. He followed me outside, slugged a shot of Jack, and asked me if I voted Republican this year.

I said, "No, I voted third party."

He started to, as the kids say, "lose his shit."

He kept trying to explain to me how Trump was an ideal candidate. He couldn't complete one single sentence. Not one. He had nothing. He mumbled things about senators. Pence. He said, "Trump is a man of God!"

He finished with "If the senators... um... if they're there, I'm gonna kick your ass!"

I laughed and drove away.

What a joke. Die.

---- the 2nd one was an internet disagreement gone awry.

This guy that's friends with my dad, an old, obese and burnt out hippie who wears Depends and drinks rum all day and night (plus he has a chiujuaha!)... well, he's a delusional piece of shit who I only stay on neutral terms with because of my dad. This guy has caused personal problems with us all before.

So he messages me on facebook. I know exactly where he is coming from, and the convo dips into politics. He asked if I voted Trump yet. I told him I voted Jill Stein.

"Wow way to ruin the country" he typed. I tried to have a healthy discourse with him, but it devolved and devolved.

At one point I told him that I was going to beat him worse than his older brother did (his older brother used to be him so bad that he left home and walked from NY to Washington state as a kid)... then I said I was going to kill him in the night.

This wasn't internet courage: I have screamed at him twice before and threatened his life. Once over the phone, as well. He's terrified of my rage but at the same time can't understand why I voice this rage.

So the next day at work, I messaged him and said that politics brings out the worst in us. He apologized and admitted that he slept with his shotgun all night, awaiting my attack, even though I'm 2,000 miles away. Had a short chortle about that fact.

---- so, what is it about Trump that makes his supporters so grating and hostile? (I can see it now: It sounds like YOU'RE hostile, OMD!! You are the one threatening an innocent old hippie!!)... Trump doesn't really bother me. Neither does Hitler. It's their followers whom I want to skin alive, take a flap of that skin, make it into a skin condom, and watch them fuck eachother up the ass with them while they bleed to death... hmm, I think I'll have eggs and wheat toast this morning. Coffee?? I just might!

Yep. Hence the adjective "burnt out".

There are women, millenials, minorities and more that support Donnie.

But hippies? Hippies are more notoriously liberal than all of those put together.  Hippies are a scourge that should be eliminated from the face of this planet.

They smell,  they have massive amounts of unprotected sex,  they start weird dividian like cults and they run naked through public parks. They are a nuisance animal that needs to be captured in live traps and sent to Russia so Putin can feed them to tigers and bears.
