This year Hallowicked is being advertised as the 30th Anniversary show. The first Hallowicked was in 1994. How does this work? I’m obviously missing something but can’t wrap my head around it. Somebody, make me feel stupid so I can move past it.

Um…. You count 1994 as the first show and count 29 more shows after that…. 2023….

If you do the math this would be the 30th time they’ve done a Hallowicked, not 30 years since the first show.
Can’t remember if they skipped a Hallowicked during Covid though.

That’s not how anniversaries work. A year after the event is the first anniversary. It’s not rocket science.

There was. They played at Violent Js house and Mr. Nothing Man was the single. I’m still not convinced these guys understand how anniversaries work. This will be the 30th ANNUAL show, not the 30th anniversary show.
