I don't know.... If my boy put out videos saying he and all his homeboys blew out my old ladies pussy I probably would never be friends with that person again regardless....

What is this referencing?

Seriously? You never saw any of the hundred or so videos he put out over a year long stint of faggotry? There's no rekindling that bromance. And if there was J would be a straight up bitch for it. I would personally probably smack his bitch face the next time I seen him outside his bus.

Also i've said it before, and i'll say it again. Esham was only amazing to most of you because someone else told you he was.

And PatJoyce, your claims about Esham rereleasing songs on albums, Psys done this as well. Different or unedited versions, whatever the case, they both done the same. And Mental Stress was only on 2 albums I believe as compared to PFOS 1 release. A lot of those songs are already on another project. At least Esham changed a beat. But again, Eshams prime was in the 90s. His music now is trash. He better owe up to that fucking shirt I ordered.

Label's daughter had a brain disease. Twiztid threw him a benefit concert to raise funds for medical aid. It wasn't enough, and she passed. I heard he quit music completely after that.

To add to what @old-mr-dangerous said, Lavel is also now a Jehovah's witness.  I ran his website back in the Diamond Cutz days...but that only lasted a few months.  He had high ambitions but it all fizzled.  He called me like a year after he fell into musical obscurity asking if I'd be able to help him sell some beats he had been sitting on.  He said he couldn't do it himself because he didn't want his name being associated with it, but rather "Mr. Heart"'s.  I guess so his newfound religion didn't find out about him still having something to do with the horrorcore scene.  I am an atheist, but if that big 7 foot motherfucker came to my door to preach the holy word, I'd have to sit and listen for fear of my life. lol.

Yeah I recall random interneters , likely little bitchboys living with their parents still, using his daughter's death to talk shit. Like I said when Esham crossed the line about Eminem's daughter in a track, some places you just don't go in a died track. Its all about content and intention and delivery though. Shaggy saying "when I think of your daughter it makes me sad she got a hoe for a mother and a bitchass dad" is nothing close to the "Haley's in a coma etc" nonsense Esham spit. He deserved that Warped Tour beat down for that, and I don't even like Shady... but those random commenters were saying shit like "Lavel's kid deserved it" etc WTC. Just phony heartless shit. Sheeeit, don't these kids know that Mr.Heart is the true heartless one?? Hahahaha!

Yeah I think Lavel is the weakest part of SV but he makes cool beats and there are a few good tracks of his out there. I like "Game Over" and some of his raps on Krazy Klan and Native Funk. Let the hating commence.

Since I became a dad, hearing about people losing their kid fucks me up HARD.

I liked Lavel's solo shit.  6'6 realist was good, and there was another album that I had and lost.

Agreed yet I always got upset about that kind of thing. Depending on the delivery of it and such.

King Gordy's "outro" from his Xerxes album disturbed the shit out my brother. He had just got back from Afghanistan and I played it at a party. He grew up on 2 Live Crew, DJ Quik, Biohazard and mad vulgar shit, but Gordy is just a different breed of monster I guess. That shock value stuff.. talking about raping Obama's daughters and cutting his dick off and all that. My brother has three girls and a boy, and his mother molested and tried to kill him, so it was inappropriate of me to play. You don't bump a guy screaming about raping and murdering children to a man that's been through it. His mom stabbed him in the back at 18 months for Christ's sake... I dunno, the guy that was always getting drunk and bumping the worst of Necro and Gordy's worst at my parties, he was always playing that shit at max volume from his SUV trying to overplay my own tunes from my camper. I should've killed the guy. I threatened him over two years ago and haven't talked to him since.

Another reason I never trusted the guy? He tried to push AMB on me every chance, no matter how hard I told him they suck. And he won't give Rehab the time of day. That completely boggles the mind.

But as for Lavel, like him or not, that "you ain't gonna tell on me man??!" Skit from Man's Myth is indisputably hilarious, at least for the first couple listens.

Yo these excerpts from MTV's  August 2012 article on ESHAM probably still holds true pertaining to a lot of the facts being discussed in this thread-

Yeah but rappers talk bout blasting entire families with kids included....fucked up but we're used to it just like the objectification of women and disparaging of homosexuals. But KING GORDY TAKES IT TOO FAR his first lp was nice after that he started going all chomo.

Its all relative man. I know many are desensitized to the degradation of women in music, primarily hip hop, but I always am aware. There can be some humor to it, as some women lower themselves to thinking that they are nothing but eye candy or sex objects. Or that they need a man to get by etc etc. So clowning on those certain women can give us entertainment. But the majority aren't like that, and deserve respect. I twitch mentally whenever I hear a rapper say "nigger" or "nigga" even. I just don't like it, no matter how much it is "the norm" for the culture today, in ANY circle.

When it comes to violence, myself and others are EXTREMELY desensitized to it. I am a violent offender myself, and have my own morals pertaining to when and where a person should be able to use deadly force in a situation. However, Violent J killing innocentfamilies aand such in "Night of the Axe" has never bothered me. Its made up characters in a song by a rapping clown. If you can't see that it was made for horror movie style entertainment, then you don't deserve to be in our society. King Gordy and Esham were attacking SPECIFIC, REAL children in their made up rhymes. It is different man, anybody can see that. I shouldn't even have had to write any of this. My brother was vocally disturbed by Gordy's one rhyme, it hit home , and that's that. No sense arguing about it. He's dead and gone now, so we can't discuss the details about why it unsettled him beyond the obvious.

Esham has been with me throughout my life's interest in music so far; no-one told me to like his music, I didn't even know who he was the first time I heard him but the music gave me chills. It stirred something in me that neither ICP nor any PSY artist could ever hope to touch.

Esham's music is genuinely dark, sinister, creative and uncompromising. He has never become stagnant and each album he has made is genuinely different. The shit he made in the nineties still sounds amazing today.... he has made so many classics that are respected throughout hip-hop . His output is still strong, both DMT and Venus Flytrap were both great conceptual albums that I still bump regularly.

I can honestly say that Esham and NATAS have long been my favourite artists and I can't see a day when that will change.

I, for one, can't wait for the new NATAS......the wicket shit will neva die fuckas

That's the shit homie. Don't worry there are other Suicidalists in this forum. Esham is the only rapper to make it to the top shelf of my cd wall. Huge fan, been filling in all the holes in my Esham cd collection off Amazon. Paid 20 bucks for Judgement Day Vol 2 used off there a week and a half ago, it just arrived in my mailbox today. Had Vol 1 forever but could never find an affordable copy of #2 till now. Waiting till the sun starts to set, then gonna crack a brew, smoke a bowl, and bump that wicked shit front to back.cool
