Yeah I think Lavel is the weakest part of SV but he makes cool beats and there are a few good tracks of his out there. I like "Game Over" and some of his raps on Krazy Klan and Native Funk. Let the hating commence.

But as for Lavel, like him or not, that "you ain't gonna tell on me man??!" Skit from Man's Myth is indisputably hilarious, at least for the first couple listens.

King Gordy's "outro" from his Xerxes album disturbed the shit out my brother. He had just got back from Afghanistan and I played it at a party. He grew up on 2 Live Crew, DJ Quik, Biohazard and mad vulgar shit, but Gordy is just a different breed of monster I guess. That shock value stuff.. talking about raping Obama's daughters and cutting his dick off and all that. My brother has three girls and a boy, and his mother molested and tried to kill him, so it was inappropriate of me to play. You don't bump a guy screaming about raping and murdering children to a man that's been through it. His mom stabbed him in the back at 18 months for Christ's sake... I dunno, the guy that was always getting drunk and bumping the worst of Necro and Gordy's worst at my parties, he was always playing that shit at max volume from his SUV trying to overplay my own tunes from my camper. I should've killed the guy. I threatened him over two years ago and haven't talked to him since.

Another reason I never trusted the guy? He tried to push AMB on me every chance, no matter how hard I told him they suck. And he won't give Rehab the time of day. That completely boggles the mind.

Esham has been with me throughout my life's interest in music so far; no-one told me to like his music, I didn't even know who he was the first time I heard him but the music gave me chills. It stirred something in me that neither ICP nor any PSY artist could ever hope to touch.

Esham's music is genuinely dark, sinister, creative and uncompromising. He has never become stagnant and each album he has made is genuinely different. The shit he made in the nineties still sounds amazing today.... he has made so many classics that are respected throughout hip-hop . His output is still strong, both DMT and Venus Flytrap were both great conceptual albums that I still bump regularly.

I can honestly say that Esham and NATAS have long been my favourite artists and I can't see a day when that will change.

I, for one, can't wait for the new NATAS......the wicket shit will neva die fuckas
