Story time!

I was invited to a sportsmans dinner a few years back. They were having mock horse races and i was asked to 'buy' a horse, name it, and the money would help out the club. I said yah, ill take 2. My buddy says ok what do you want to name them. I told him i would need a few days, thia is an important decision and it cant be made on a whim like that. This horse will have this name for a full 3 minutes, it cant be anything just random. After a few days and a lot of thinking i came back to my friend and said id like to name one of my horses 'your face'. He looked at me slightly stunned and ask why. I told him when that horse comes barreling around the 4th corner and is staring at the finish line my ass is jumping up on the chair and screaming 'come on your face' 'come on your face". we both laughed and deemed my name as acceptable. The other horse's name i cant remember. Game day rolls around and my race was up. Im on the edge of my seat with adrenaline. I got even more antsy waiting for that 4th corner sprint and then I froze. I sat there looking around at a room full of men with their wives and children and just couldnt do it. Damn morals...

Either way both horses lost, but its a good lead to the next race. Scottied's 2018 gathering review or DemonicSwaggers Ballas review? Anyone wanna place bets?

I questioned how the mock horse race worked, ive read some but it didn't give a good enough description so i had to witness to figure it out. If the time comes that your invited to something like this id suggest doing it, it was fun. The actual race was of an old grainy actual horse race, edited so the names werent visible and each horse was given a new name, your name. The announcer (local guy) would call the races according to the new names given and the number on the actual race. It was fun seeing everyone getting into this. My forum persona is a fake. Ask anyone i gathered with this year. I really enjoy sitting back and watching and dont normally say anything. Unless ive had a few drinks. This was def one of those events where everyone was hype and it felt good to see everyone else having fun.
