I think it’s the whole “family” thing. If an artist is repping a hatchetman and spittin horror rap, we feel like we have to listen because they are one of us. I think the juggalo family is still alive, but on a much more subtle level these days.
I think it’s because most of us got into it during the golden era of the family where they had the strongest roster, the most pride and the music was always guaranteed a certain level of quality.
Hoodoo doesn’t reach that bar, Lyte doesn’t reach that bar, Blahzay’s legacy is always going to be tainted by perceptions of her and Ouija is too new school for folks. (personally, I think Ouija is the best thing that’s happened since Twiztid).
People really hated AMB too even though I think God’s Hand should be considered a Juggalo classic.

I haven’t gotten too into Hoodoo as much as most of you all have.
Lyte is exceptional live. His albums don’t hit that same feel.
Blahzay I never gave much effort into. The visual treatment she got, and her voice, remind me too much of female rapper friends of mine that I don’t have the heart to tell they suck. But I will, if they ask my honest opinion.
Ouijja is definitely good. Even if he isn’t for everyone, he has “It”.

Would Eminem have made it without Dre? We will never know. Its a useless statement. Meanwhile Twiztids albums have been out selling ICP for years. Its not like they were helping talentless hacks stay afloat. Twiztid is fucking dope no matter what the vocal minority that flood this website thinks.

I’ve never said Twiztid sucked. Ever. I’ve said that their newer stuff wasn’t as appealing to me but never denied their talent.
The statement is not useless. There is value in everything.

no it’s definitely aids
their manager Yorgo is a Greek and you know how them Greeks are
he can bend Madrox and Monoxide over his desk and booty bang them anytime he want’s part of the magic ninja contract
that’s also why G-moe wanted out so badly and Young Wicked wanted in so badly
the whole label is planning on a move to California that way they can spread the aids as much as they want and don’t have to disclose it

I have lots of doubts Twiztid has been outselling ICP. Just judging by that fact ICPs monthly Spotify streaming numbers are over Twiztid, dispite Twiztid releasing a new single nearly every month.
So I’m not buying the idea their albums are passing ICP right now, even if CD sales are lower for both compared to 15 years ago.

Plus, ICP have achieved so much that no one ever will.
Even if Twiztid blew up like no horrorcore artist in the history of Earth, if they “flipped the mainstream” so damn hard that there was a goddamned Horrorcore station on FM radio, and they had their faces engraved on Mount Kushmore in Detroit… they will never have done what ICP have done.
Love Twiztid forever. This is not a diss to them. Its a diss to people who spout that nonsense about ICP being 100% evil bastards in spite of all they have provided us.
“Why be original when you can be bitter?” – i think was Monoxide’s original intention from his classic statement.

You can doubt all you want or you can just check the stats. Its a fact.

Nope. You just don’t love your guidelines being challenged. It’s okay to point out faults and things that you dislike about artists you revere. I point out ICP’s all the time. Shaggy was a drunken mess and ruined most of “Black Rain”… Violent J hit his lyrical peak around the “Wizard of the Hood” era and has never come close to returning… I am embarrassed by their gay-hating lyrics from the past… I could on for hours. But I already have, you just focus on my Twiztid critisisms.
You act like the only way to appreciate an artist you love is blind acceptance. Twiztid can do no wrong in your eyes? Is that it? I know its not, because I’ve heard you criticize them, too. Thats normal. Thats okay. That’s WHAT THIS FORUM IS FOR.
The one thing I’ve been on consistently is that I dislike the persona that Paul Methric presents, whether online, in person, or through his podcast things. I’ve wondered if maybe “being an arrogant, anxiety-plagued prick” is just part of his shtick. If so, good for him. I still revere his music and what its done for myself and others. Good job, Paul, have a biscuit!
Haven’t you heard the phrase “never meet your heroes”? All artists worth a shit are complex human beings. I’m not going to be a drooling Tennessee fan boy whose only presence on this forum is one of artist fallatio and ecstatic worship. How boring would it be if all we did was come on here and praise every song by every artist related to this Horrorcore experience? You’re being dishonest to yourself, and it is transparent and makes me blush. You’re being dishonest to your idols Twiztid as well. The correct term is YES MAN. How are they to grow and challenge themselves if all everyone does is lick their creative testicles?
Once again, the point of these forums is discussion. When jokes like you come on here and call people a “faggot” when you don’t agree with them (I didn’t forget, Southern Boy) or a “pedophile” like Smack and Krunk have decided to call me, it reveals more about yourself than your typed target. And I’m just as guilty as anyone else, as we have all seen from my blacked out drunken rants.
Anything you reply to this, whether it be concise, thoughtful debate, or more childish Confederate flag-loving name-calling, or some kind of what you consider clever meme with one or two words or phrases, will never compare to my intellect and logic.
These words that I have just typed on here have ascended to God Level. Angels will weep in agreement at how much better I conduct myself and explain about the human condition than you could ever fathom. Every time you look in the mirror, you’re going to think about this discussion, and you will never, ever get over it. I have just ruined part of your life. Over a band we both love on an internet forum. Remember when you were in your teenage angst phase that you, well, still are going through? Twiztid asked the perfect question then.. “How Does it Feel?” I can almost smell your fucking spider-hair braid things… I recognize the emptiness of your Tennessee eyes within that black grease paint around them. Or Kentucky, I dunno. Can’t remember.

Curious where you are drawing your numbers from? FFF outcharted Generation Nightmare on the Billoboard 200 in several ways, and considering we never saw many numbers from Mad Season other then it rolling in at 9 in album sales, not even charting on the Billboard 200 and the usual first week streaming numbers.
Like said ICPs monthly Spotify numbers are near a 1 million vs Twiztids near 200,000. Even though Twiztid is constantly pushing streaming with a new single.
If anything Twiztids peak CD sales were during the W.I.C.K.E.D. era. Even ex Juggalos or non fans always affiliate them with the guys with ICP because ICP made a bigger name during their peak then Twiztid has done.

guess where I bought FFF and FTFOMF???
the store I even bought flip the rat vinyl at the store no online crap
I don’t even think Canada the whole country stocks Twiztid albums at all the only place to get them is online
Twiztid might sell more because they release what seems like a new album every month but their 10 albums = 1 ICP album
