Ditto. Back in 2008 I saw ABK in NY state at the Chance theater (the upstairs smaller portion of the venue actually). There were maybe 40 people there and you know what? It was a bomb ass show! ABK jumped in the back seat of some ninjas whoopty and toked up before he went on. Straight up.  

Sometimes those shows can be the best. 

The nightmares I have are of events that never actually happened. I will go to a Gathering or venue and the show is either dead or people slowly file out. It makes me feel empathy and embarrassment for the performers. Not sure what the symbolism means but I could probably figure it out with a little more inward reflection.

ABK is a very solid performer, I think. He is better live than on a lot of his tracks. 

I remember a homie on here said he saw some solo member of KMK live and there was actually no one there to see him. Just people passing through a normal weekend at a bar. That hurts me even though I don't like KMK lol. Poor bastard. I have seen absolutely shitty local horrorcore rap kids pull at least a dozen here and there. Mostly just friends of the band, but still. 

Upstate NY has it's pocketed of Clown Towns, but is generally not he most populous with attendance for Wicked shit. However, two factors that I have always observed that may contribute to that: upstate NY seems to always get ICP and similar groups on WEEKDAYS and mostly in THE WINTER. I swear most of my clown shows were freezing. Most people had to dip out after the openers to go to work the next morning.

I seen them 3 times and everytime I was drenched in faygo and would not want to have to go outside in a Montreal winter drenched in faygo.

After living in Colorado so long, man.... it seems like they get at least 2 different rounds of Strange Music shows a year. Lots of MNE as well. Great music scene.

ABK had such low attendance that the made the show free.

Ces Cru started their headlining tour in Omaha, and there were less than 20 of us there.  

Can't even imagine what they must have been going through, probably expecting a packed crowd.

So many factors involved.... people being lazy.... people not being "concert" people... agoraphobia... people cant get out of work that night or the next day.... weird weather... sometimes the advertising sucks or is too late... or people just arent aware of the show... illnesses and family issues... got locked up... alien abductions... broke... just lost the ambition that night... car trouble... death.... I could go on all day.... but I just cannot see how these moderately famous underground artists fail to pull in a decent crowd. Just overall bizarre to me.
