I took this as OMD is that dude that would offer to pay for the popcorn just to stick his weiner thru the bottom of the bucket waiting for you to grab a handful.
I mean, if you go into this knowing its possible then its less of a surprise. Takes the shock value away.

I could totally see him recommending the late show and not taking you to dinner first. Leaving you weak and powerless to his antics. You just go along with it cause you know whats gonna happen.
Picture it: Now hes going to recommend the longest show possible to give him time to work his magic. So the 15th anniversary of Titanic it is! Right at the scene where Leo and Kate meet on the boat you hear a muffled "zip" sound. You know what this is but you dont say anything cause your aware of whats going on. By the time the boat starts sinking your starving. Youve by now had plenty of time to think about this and know whats to come (no pun intended). So you just bite the bullet and grab a handful, just to get the chance to have some popcorn. By the time the movie is over hes out cold and you have a full belly. Its really a win win

Nope, sir. My youngest got a fever, vomit and all. Which presented me with an interesting story:
1. Realize that I may have my first potential day off, because my daughter will be too sick to go to school, so I wont have to drive her to school in the early morning. So I could go to ICP and wile out, as they say.
Or
2. Realize that I may have another brief yet emotionally satisfying few hours with my daughter, taking care of her. Aiding her in laughter. Feeding her. Life is so unexpected.
I chose the latter. Call me a bitch, but I love my small family.

Its all good man, i would have done the same. Sucks you missed it but there will be a next time. The mrs. and i skipped our chance at the hallowicked show 3 times this year. It was an hour and 15 mins each direction. She had oral surgery and we spent the weekend together eating good foods and hanging out. Didnt know if she was going to be good for our anniversary or not. I did manage a day off out of it!

A series of unfortunate events has lead to the postponement of this story. I started thinking about it at work and laughed out loud to myself many times. The guys already think i have issues cause i do this a lot so its ok. When it was finally time to go my car wouldnt start. So the Mrs will be calling off tonight so i can have her vehicle first thing in the morning. I dont normally play on the pc while she's home. I get into things and lose track of time completely. Gonna be a long night tonight and day tomorrow thinking of how to word this like our mr scruff would. It also gives me time to find my camo pants and grow my hair into pony tail fashion to properly attack this role. MCL fellas, thanks for giving me something else to think about and making a bad situation tolerable in my head.
