Haven’t been inspired to post here in a minute, outside of some Gathering comments. I wanted to take the time to say that the latest Ouija album is the fuckin bomb dignity.

I fell in and out of love with Ouija since he started on PSY and then Chapter 17. Really dug the first few releases, but after that it all sounded the same. Darcc Planet is a different animal all together. It is the most complete Ouija Macc record to date. This, coming on the heels of his most complete live performance to date at the Gathering. He keeps within his own style but also was finally able to find some true Dark Carnival magic. That’s partially because the majority of the songs actually have some depth and also partially because Devereaux samples ICP on quite a few tracks, and absolutely freaks it I might add. I don’t have answers, but I’ll give props to this past Gathering and to Ouija’s new record for making me feel some Juggalo magic again. It’s been a while.
