I’ve never actually had the insert, what kind of séance?
i forget the traditional name for it, ‘dark mirror summoning’ or some campy shit like that, but the basic idea is: you sit in total darkness and silence, with a mirror in front of you that you cant even see, and stare at it until you start to hallucinate.
uh, i mean, until you make contact with the spirit realm.
it essentially works the same way as a sensory deprivation experiment.
i first did that shit in the eighties.

A neighbor and my brother and myself did that when we were about six years old. Inside the men’s bathroom at a county fire hall. It scares the shit out of you when you’re little, I won’t lie.
You guys haven’t played “Bloody Mary?” That’s essentially what we did. Say her name in the mirror three times. And yes the mirror does change colors and shit. Its how your brain reacts to almost total darkness. Good fun.
Just don’t say Candyman three times… you may lose your phallus by hook.

we used to do bloody mary in the christian school I went to as a kid.Never saw shit but it would scare the fuck out of us.One time we thought we saw her and ran out of the bathroom as fast as we could.Brain thinks all kinds of weird shit in the dark.

It was called Gazing into the Netherworld. Basically what you said makes the most sense, but the whole thing about possibly malevolent demonic spirits coming through and refusing to leave, that’s where I kinda draw the line at things I’ll experiment with. Usually anything that requires a dark closets going to be a no for me.

Well I was wondering whether or not if I preordered I would get it ahead of time, but since all of psy is at the gathering they probably won’t even send preorders till after the gathering. I was just trying to decide whether the shirt or whatever was worth it. Writing it out just helped me think about it a little more concretely.

The track is dope as fuck imo. I will point out 1 thing i didnt like though. I hope twiztid n blaze arnt doing that fast rapping shit all over the album…because if they are then its not really lotus. That shit sounds more like an icp blaze twiztid collabo track then a collective DL track. No real complaints….jus hope that the rest of the album is dark as fuck.
